Cool, but we've known about extremism in the ranks of the US military for a long while & these people still exist in the US military. So yes a message from the top was necessary but wasn't for you

No, the vast majority of the military did not need that memo to remind them of the oaths we all swore. But there are bad actors in our ranks and they got put on notice.
