Acts of terrorism were committed by individuals during the Jan. 6th Capitol Occupation; roundly condemned by everyday citizens & lawmakers, alike, law enforcement was praised by lawmakers on both sides of the aisle and Congress impeached the President for 'incitement'.
I can say this because I'm aware of the definition of terrorism per 22 USC Β§ 2656f(d)(2) and the supporting definition of "violence" derived from 18 U.S. Code Β§ 16(a).

However, by this same standard, the 2020 US Riots involved hundreds, possibly thousands of acts of terrorism.
Despite meeting the US Code's definition of terrorism the response was vastly different; accepted, even encouraged by everyday citizens and Democrat lawmakers, law enforcement was demonized for any use of force and the Dems who spurred it on suffered no professional discipline.

Okay, I think I've got a solid-enough skeleton for a D&D campaign set in a world based around Ancient Greek/Roman societies; gladiatorial tournaments, gods intimately involved in the affairs of man, limited technology but with magic being relatively commonplace.

Who's in? :)
@S_Devil_? Want to dive into a world where you could fight to earn the favour of the gods in the colosseum? Delve into the intrigue of Ancient Roman politics/high society? Undermine the stability of the empire and join the barbarians at the gate in tearing it all down?
@EldritchW1tch, how about you? Afraid it'll be a primarily human world (dinosaurs, sure, but tieflings/equivalents won't be commonplace enough to justify a PC) but there'll be plenty of trouble to get into, nonetheless ;)

Seeing a lot of people claiming they don't understand why a female protagonist doesn't fit in a game centered around acts of violent crime in the United States.

To those individuals I present "Sex Differences in Crime in the United States."

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_diffe…
If you can't be bothered to click the link: Image
US Arrests by crimes relevant to the GTA franchise:

Robbery? 87.9% male
Burglary? 85% male
Arson? 83% male
MOTOR-VEHICLE THEFT? 81.5% male
Aggravated assault? 77.8%

Starting to see the reason a female protagonist in GTA might be immersion-breaking for people, yet?

As an extension of the statement that #AllLivesMatter, #BlackLivesMatter.

As such, I think it's important that we look into a few numbers:

~6% of the US population are Black men
~50% of murderers are Black men
~90% of their victims are Black
~45% of murder victims are Black
To be clear, that's murders; not all homicides are murders; unjustified homicides; 2600 in 2018.

There were, by contrast, 259 Black Americans killed by police in the same year, INCLUDING those that were armed, fighting with the cops, etc; justified shoots.
10x more Black Americans murdered by other Blacks than there are Black Americans killed by police in a given year, including those killed when the police had indisputable justification for using deadly force.

So, if you really care about Black lives, where would you start?
