As the former Executive Editor of several national consumer magazines, that's not actually what this Vogue cover shows me.

You must understand how many people had eyes on that cover copy before it went to print and thought that it was awesome.
This was a HUGE cover for Vogue.

LOTS of ad money in this one, with (I would assume) jacked up "premium placement" rates for the inside front & back covers, the ads in the table of contents, and any within the article itself, on the expectation that more readers see those pages.
This cover *should* have set the magazine's editorial tone for their approach to the entire administration.

Proofreaders, assistant editors, graphic designers, managing editors, the marketing team, the advertising team, the Executive Editor & the Publisher were all good with it.
They all signed off on a final digital "blue line" copy of the magazine before the print run started.

It could have been changed right up to the last second.

It wasn't.

Which tells me their entire Woman's Lib mantra is complete and utter bullshit.
This isn't the first time they've done exactly this kind of thing.

Teen Vogue was way more interested in @AOC's shade of lipstick than anything she had to say about policies.
So, with this Kamala cover, Vogue is making the very strong statement that they are in fact... *gasp!*... a fashion magazine!

They profit in women's vanities and insecurities.

They sell sex on every page.

So, in some ways, I can't help but think this cover is perfect.

I need to confirm all this myself, because it seems too fantastical to be true.
Netherland government stepping down...

They ALL resigned.

Oh my god.

I bet that's their plan.

Biden resigns, and Kamala is going to make Pelosi VP.

That's her payment for the last four years.

That's why she feels so emboldened now.

I'd bet money on it.
Why I don't think it would be Hillary:

She is as much of a liability as Joe. Her usefulness is gone. They would rather throw Joe and Hillz under a bus as a peace offering.
Nancy has deep ties. And don't forget her nephew is Newsom, and he could be in a LOT of trouble if Dominion were to be investigated by a Special Prosecutor.

They could spin any allegations against him as "vindictive" and "going after the VP's family."

Here's a protest:

Could you imagine if, on the 20th, just as Joe was taking the oath, 80 million Americans stepped just outside their door and released a Red Balloon?

A VERY correct Patriot made a VERY good point, so...

Think the chat boxes in any network live stream of the Inauguration. 😎

An Unconventional Coup deserves an Unconventional and undeniably peaceful Protest.

Let's make this happen.

Ok, Twitter Fam, all of this is happening very fast, which means we need fast responses.

We need to come to grips with the fact that this is where we are right now.

This is real.

So let's start coming up with meaningful plans to counter it all.
Here's my first thought: Start going as low tech as you can.

Start creating actual paper trails.

Think about writing checks again, so you have cancelled checks as records.

Start memorizing some phone numbers again.

Get a damn corded landline.
Just to be clear, I'm not saying toss your cell in the ocean and go off the grid.

I'm saying have low tech back-ups and printed records of anything you do online.

Welcome to The New Urban Agenda, courtesy of the United Nation's Agenda 2030.

Yaaay! Sustainability!

Of course, if you have no cars—and trust me, you won't be able to afford one—you'll have to rely on public transportation & airlines to leave your new smart city.
Of course, you won't be able to use those services without your vaccination passport.

So you will shop, either at Amazon or eBay or at the store you can walk to. The store that got the lucrative permit to build in the master planned, inclusive and mandated diverse community.
You'll work at home, too, if you don't have that vax passport.

And you know, if you refuse to take care of yourself, your national healthcare status is going to have to be reviewed. I mean, you haven't enjoyed your free membership to the corner gym & CCTV hasn't seen you jog...

Start making a list of news people you trust.

Not "news people you always agree with."

People whose analysis challenges your thinking, not confirms your beliefs.

People you believe tell the truth as they see it, no matter what.

My starting list, below...
.@SteveDeaceShow tops my list.

He cuts through the noise and gives you his bottom line, and could care less if you believe him.

He embodies "righteous indignation," which can at times annoy me, but he applies it with honor.

He is speaking the truth as he knows it.

If you want to look at his track record for insightful, damn near prophetic, analysis, pick up a copy of his book, A Nefarious Plot.

He published it in 2016.

He nailed it.

All of it. ImageImage
