#YEMEN:#Mahra tribes calls for int’l pressure to remove foreign troops

Mahra sit-in committee’s officials called on the international community to pressure Saudi Arabia to remove its troops from the governorate.
In a statement, the organizing committee welcomed the approval
of the draft resolution issued by European Parliament that calls for the withdrawal of foreign forces from #Yemen for facilitating political dialogue among the components of the #Yemeni people.

The statement called on the envoy of the new #US administration to get acquainted
with the reality of the situation in the provinces of Mahra and Socotra, as well as #Saudi and #Emirati plans to destroy state institutions and form and support militias to consolidate control over the two provinces.

The committee urged the sons of #Mahra to enhance the
internal front and work together to confront and thwart the dangers and attempts by of Saudi and UAE tools to ignite the chaos in the southern provinces.

#YEMEN:Shura Council calls int’l media to pay attention to humanitarian issue in #Yemen.

The #Yemeni Shura Council sent on Tuesday a number of letters to heads of international media outlets that are transparent and neutral in their handling of global issues.

Fourth #Yemeni drone strike in just five days hits Saudi airport in #Abha.
The #Yemeni @army21ye has carried out fresh drone attacks on Abha International Airport on Sunday, the army spokesman said in a statement
In a tweet on Sunday, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e affirmed
that a Samad-3 and Qasef 2k drones were used in the attack and they hit the target accurately,
Sare’e added the air attacks came in retaliation to the Saudi airstrikes and blockade against the #Yemeni people.
