Strengths and weaknesses are the defining moments of your life. Be aware of what they are and how to use each.

-A Thread-
Wealth vs Greed

Wealth is a strength. It can be a tool that can benefit many. It can create freedom for you and your family, health, happiness, security and endless memorable memories.

Greed is a weakness. A struggling child's selfish desire, an endless hope of nothingness.
In life, many seek wealth, but are really chasing greed. It is important to not only understand the difference, but to recognize both in its many forms.

Wealth builds you up while greed tears you down.

Wealth can create a life while greed can destroy many lives.
Faith vs Fear

Faith is a strength. The foundation for any relationship and any belief. Faith gives you a reason to believe in the impossible.

Fear is a weakness. Fear is an emotional reaction to an unwelcomed experience. Fear is doubt and has no place in your life, ever.
Some may say that faith and fear often exist at the same time.

But can you really have fear if you have faith? Can faith override any fear?

I say the answer is yes.

Faith defeats fear every time.
Create vs Consume

Creating is a strength. Everything you use on a daily basis was created by somebody. Creating is in your DNA. Tap into it as much as possible to find your true potential.

Consuming is a weakness. For some people this is a way of life. All they do is take.
To create is to live.

You are not alive to merely consume and die.

You are alive to live, to love, to find passion and then turn that passion into action.

Make sure you are CREATING your life.

Or someone else will create it for you.
Giving vs Taking

Giving is a strength. They say the more you give the more you get. But more importantly giving is a sign of a hope. To help another person is pure love.

Taking is a weakness. Most people take what they cant get for themselves. They are lazy and selfish.
Do you ever get more joy from giving rather than receiving?

Have you ever taken something from someone and immediately regretted it?

Have you ever given someone something and immediately regretted it?

Regret has no place in life.

Give. Give and give some more.
Mindful vs Mindless

Mindful is a strength. It means you make conscious decisions in the moment based on rationale decision making. This is a super power.

Mindless is a weakness. You make unconscious irrational decisions. Mindless people see the bad in everything.
Living in the moment and making rationale decisions has become a super power.

So many people mindlessly waste away their lives while some people take the wheel and change the world.

Being aware of your decision making in the moment separates the good from the great.
Health vs Disease

Health is a strength. A healthy mind and body has gone from being the norm to being a status of eliteness in the world.

Disease is a weakness. So many diseases shatter will shatter your mind, your body and your hopes. Some diseases you create, avoid them.
In most cases choosing a healthy life over a disease filled life is a choice.

What you put into your body is what you will likely get out of it.

Fuel yourself wisely, train your body and mind ruthlessly.

Always be intentionally with your decisions.
Love vs Lust

Love is a strength. Especially when you start by loving yourself. Loving yourself opens up life and allows you to see the beauty in all things.

Lust is a weakness. The ultimate challenge between good and evil. Do you desire things for the right reasons?
To some love and lust are the same thing.

But to a man and to a woman they are drastically different.

Love is pure and lust is evil. One gives and one takes.

Make sure to live a life of value by spending your every breathe focused on loving more.
Struggle vs surrender

Struggle is strength. It is not defeat, it is a potential power that is waiting for you to use it. Embrace hard times because they can create the ultimate strength.

Surrender is weakness. When you quit, you lose. If you never quit, you can never lose.
To struggle is to live.

To surrender is to die.

Never give up on yourself and never give up on your dreams.

Life is a constant battle between good and evil. Between strengths and weaknesses.

Never lose hope. Never lose faith.

Life Lessons and quotes from Mr. Miyagi

-A Thread-
Adversity is inevitable and oftentimes out of your control.

This adversity may seem unfair, but that is no excuse to ever accept defeat.

Adversity is necessary for growth.

"Sometimes what heart know, head forgets"
In life there are survivors and victims.

Survivors learn how to adapt and persevere through tough conditions.

Survivors take responsibility, they take action.

Victims never learn, make excuses and never take responsibility.

Fear of Criticism

People often fear the thoughts of others and how it will impact their life. However, your thoughts are more important and making decisions for yourself regardless of potential criticism is how you truly become successful.
Fear of Poverty

Most people think their current life is as good as it gets and are scared of taking any risks to potentially lose what they have. But you will never know how much you can achieve or how far you can go in life if you never take risks.

How to deal with your problems.

-A Thread-
1) Is it really a problem?

Or is it a blessing in disguise?

Our brains first response is usually "danger, danger"

But, if we slow down and focus... our outlook can dramatically change everything immediately.
2) If it really is a problem.

Why is it a problem?

What makes it so big that it is a "problem?"

Again, a problem is how you perceive something.

Change the world "problem" to obstacle.

Obstacles are ok, they help us get where we are going.
