Important findings include:

1)A section of "Dalit Muslims" testify dat dey r seated separately in non-Dalit Muslim feasts & r served food on different plates.
2)Around 8% of "Dalit Muslim" respondents report dat deir children r seated in separate rows in classes and also during school lunches. 2/n
3) At least a third of them state dat they are not allowed to bury their dead in an "upper-caste" burial ground.
4) When "Dalit Muslim" respondents were requested 2 share their experiences inside homes of upper-cast Muslims, around 13% of them reported having received food/

Haldi/Manjha ceremony in Indian Muslim wedding- The bride wears yellow and is anointed with turmeric paste that is given by the groom’s family. After this, a married friend accompanies the bride everywhere until the wedding. Just like Haldi custom of Hindu marriages.
