I can’t tell you how many times men comment on the clothes you wear or your posture. @MichelleWieWest is an awesome golfer and a tribute to many women, like myself, who love the game. I get her comments and applaud her for them. Don’t ever tell me how to dress for golf.
In the past, a friend’s husband commented about the great posture I have when I play. Yes, you stand a particular way when lining up the ball to hit. When he first made that comment he also commented on how straight i stand while looking at my chest.
Hubs noticed it and asked me if I heard what he had said? I told him I did and wanted to punch him, but we were in the Pro Shop. Hubs stays aware of these guys and until I can’t handle it myself, he’ll let me take care of these idiots with my words and actions.
Like @MichelleWieWest said; she played a 64. An awesome 64 because she’s good at what she does. Golf needs to evolve into a better sport and acknowledge women for what they do, not what they wear.
END
P.S. I’ll never be as good as @MichelleWieWest (my handicap is an evolving 28), but at 66, don’t give me shit about my game.

I’m going to to another #GolfCartChat for y’all. This is #15.
It relates a bit to this comment about schools opening or closing or how it’s being managed.
Yesterday I played golf with the Superintendent of a school district in CA near me. 1/ THREAD
This particular district has been mostly up and running since last year, except for a few months when lockdowns were happening statewide.
They have had to handle the PPE themselves, come up with rules for the district that helps meet the States guidelines where they can.
2/
They have several restrictions in place.
#1 - class cannot mix with the other class in their grade level. Once you have a class, you stay in that class.
#2 - Masks are worn during class and desks are isolated the best they can by 6 ft.

It is interesting that he gets away with this so often, however, I’m going to suggest that with a working SEC, this just might get him a look see like before.
He takes risks, because he can.
Here’s another risk he took: 1/
Mike Pence’s early days in Congress was spent doing radio shows about right wing politics and religion. Nothing new.
He really had no ambition. He lacked style. But he liked being behind a microphone.
He enjoyed being behind the scenes. It suited his quiet personality. He could say what he wanted and appeal to whoever might listen.
He pushed his messaging early on like this.
Today I was just informed that an acquaintance of mine and his wife tested positive for COVID.
The husband got test results on the 20th of January, his wife on the 17th of Jan.
She had little or no symptoms and his recuperating at home still.
- lethargic, no fever, achy.
1/
However, the husband stayed at home for 4 days until he became too sick and went to the ER on the 24th of January. He is still there in the ICU today.
He had no underlying conditions.
His fever lasted for 4 days, his stats show up and down on oxygen and is very weak.
2/
He is not on a ventilator BUT on heavy duty oxygen, talking but very tired and achy. His fever spikes and goes away. His wife is doing fine now, but says she has never got her strength back.
He is 63, a retired CHP officer.
