I also feel like I'm the sense that if you think legislative term limits inherently make a government more responsive and quote unquote "better," there are a few states with legislative term limits at the state level and the overall difference seems small at best
Like here in Michigan we have legislative term limits and our state government still has gridlock and fights etc etc except we have new faces every few years. Which, cool I guess
I also think there is a downside in that good pols sometimes get locked out of serving for a longer time by legislative term limits
