Proven: These 9 Hacks Will Double Your Productivity
~ THREAD ~
1. Take breaks
Disconnect yourself a bit and relax your mind and body. It is better to work 1 hour focused than 3 hours doing mediocre work.
You can also use the Pomodoro Technique, it work you organize your work into 25-min focus separated by five-min breaks.
2. Stop multitasking
Multitask will not help you finishing 2 things but it will only waste your time and get you 2 unfinished things.
Focus in one thing, do it correctly, move on to the next thing.
Remember, quality > quantity.
3. Set little goals daily
You can have one main goal, but if you really want to achieve this goal, set little goals for the day.
Every little win counts, with little goals for the day, your goal will be way more easier to achieve.
Slow progress is still progress.
4. Say "no"
If you're trying to please everyone, you'll end up pleasing no one.
Get your priorities, and start pleasing yourself.
Saying "no" will save you time, energy, and a lot of struggles.
5. Avoid distractions
Simple yet effective.
- Stay hydrated
- Have a written plan
- Turn off ALL notifications
-Get your phone away from you
-If music helps you to focus, then go on
- Take breaks (we already talked about this)
6. Create a schedule
The worst thing that can happen to someone, is to wake up and to have no idea what to do.
Create a schedule that's realistic, with deadlines, with breaks, and with goals.
Schedules help you organize, organization becomes productivity.
7. Set deadlines
Creating deadlines with consequences is essential. Try it sometime you won't regret it.
Put logical deadlines, and let others know about it. You work better under pressure.
8. Sleep well
If you do not get good sleep, you will feel tired all the day and you will not accomplish any goal for the day.
Good sleep improves your mood, your attitude, your entire day.
"hUsTLeRs nEvEr sLeEp" is bullshit. Real hustlers do sleep.
9. Automate everything you can
There are many tasks we repeat daily, and we could automate many of these task and save a lot of time and energy.
The less you need to think, the better. Decision fatigue is real, take it seriously.
