This PB was so good at hiding his face all day. But then he took it off for a minute and our image recognition software matched him. #SeditionHasConsequences
Here's the full photo with the mask.
As soon as we indexed this photo. BOOM! We have a match. So far our early research is very promising!
[BREAKING] Feds unseal new indictment against Proud Boy Nicholas Ochs. Ochs was one of the first people the Feds scooped up (arrested January 7) #SeditionTrack#CapitolRiots
"While on U.S. Capitol grounds unlawfully, DeCarlo and Ochs defaced the U.S. Capitol by scrawling onto its Memorial Door the words “MURDER THE MEDIA[.]”
[BREAKING] Richard Barnett has been indicted by a DC Grand Jury. He was originally arrested and charged on January 8th. Now he has been indicted for a long list of crimes. #SeditionTrack
"The grand jury indictment, which was made public Tuesday, added an additional count under U.S. Code, Title 18: Obstruction of an Official Proceeding, 18 U.S.C. 1512(c)(2), and Aiding and Abetting, 18 U.S.C. 2."
If convicted, Barnett faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison under 18 U.S.C. 1512(c)(2).
He faces a maximum penalty of 10 years under 18 U.S.C. 1752(a)(1) and (b)(1)(A), Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds with a Deadly or Dangerous Weapon.
Feds also said he tried to take a riot shield from another officer later.
Since he was already on parole this is probably not going to go over well with his parole officer.
That's not the end of his legal woes since he also had an outstanding warrant for an assault in 2019. It's unclear why this did not have an impact on his parole or why he was not arrested at least a year later.
