In it, Cancun Cruz suggests that this was predictable. And the boys chortle about how good it is that Texas' grid is not regulated.
"One of the reasons people move here is cost of living. Our energy prices are much lower than other parts of the country," says Cancun Cruz, whose constituents are paying 5-digit energy bills now.
I mean, it's really cute, as in juvenile boy cute, that @HolmesJosh claims this was a hard-hitting interview. Teddy Cruz was all over the map. His statements made zero sense, sentence to sentence. And they didn't even mention TX's spiking energy bills.
@HolmesJosh "It's really creepy that you have a journalist who takes a picture of your dog."
Then Teddy Cruz complains that Heidi was pictured in a bikini BY THE NYPOST while Teddy Cruz' constituents were at risk of freezing to death.

SDNY just superseded Steve Calk, the banker who attempted to bribe Manafort for a Trump job by giving him a loan he couldn't pay. His trial is currently scheduled for June 2.
It adds a conspiracy charge to commit financial institution bribery, with language talking about Calk conspiring with The Borrower (AKA Paul Manafort).
No fucking idea what this means. But keep in mind too that Calk's bank is one of the entities that may now get the $$ that otherwise would have been forfeited to the US.
Almost two months later, insurrectionists are still drafting their own arrest affidavits, including (in this case) a 1512 charge, in interviews with journalists.
Mike @SenMikeLee seems obsessed with Merrick Garland's stance on the Mike Flynn case. I wonder if that means Lee supports DOJ's alteration of case documents to disinform Mike Lee. judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/…
@SenMikeLee Mike Lee also seems really worried that a religious organization might be prosecuted which makes me wonder if knows about some crime in particular.
Meanwhile @tedcruz laid out basis for Merrick Garland to reopen the investigation into Donald Trump during the 2016 election.
Portman says he's concerned we're not hearing from DOD officials who were actually making decisions.
You're not alone on that point, Senator.
Peters gets William Walker to testify that he immediately got approval to deploy the Guard in June, but not on January 6. Says DOD would not authorize means to protect his Guardsmen.
Whitehouse: QFRs FBI failed to answer? 7 of 9 hearings, 0 QFRs? Going to do better?
Wray: There is an elaborate inter-agency.
Whitehouse: Immensely convenient for Exec BRach.
[He's furious]
Whitehouse: The Trump-Russia information didn't seem to go through any interagency. Got RIGHT THROUGH to our Republican colleagues. THis is bipartisan. When I say zero, I mean zero from any member. You think Congress deserves answers to questions?
Whitehouse: Some of these go back to 2017. That's years, btw. THen when it's a question of sudden interest to one party and President Trump, please don't tell me about interagency process.
