I have always worried about the significance of Boko Haram having access to anti-aircraft missiles ever since an aid to Chadian President Bhacarat Gnoti was caught by border guards with 19 SA-7 shoulder fired anti-aircraft missile he was to deliver to Boko Haram in 2014.
The significance of Boko Haram having their access to these weapons cannot be overlooked. Nigeria needs to be on highest security alert with securing of its northern borders against penetration of arms and fighters from our surroundings. Nigeria needs also reevaluate
It's ties with so called stake holders. I am not saying the plane was shot down. But you cannot deny the possibility that Boko Haram will seek to aquire SA-7 and SA-24 shoulder fired surface to air missiles in lieu of incoming A-29 and JF-17 warplanes.
If just a handful of helicopters was doing so much damage that their covert backers were willing to risk smuggling SA-7 missiles by road to with a hand written note from the Chadian President, think about the trepidation they must have with new incoming high performance aircraft
..we talking purpose built aircrafts capable of carry out missions day or night and in adverse weather conditions with smart munitions. Activities in the last couple days have been uncanny. The diplomatic posturing. The "courtesy visits" by derby after JF-17 delivery.
...and now the dissapearance of an Alpha jet. Something just doesnt feel right.

How did we get here?. Part 1.

The spread of shoulder fired anti-aircraft missiles from Libya after the overthrow of Muhammar Gaddafi’s regime has always been a threat to not just military aircrafts, but commercial aircrafts as well. Image
January 8 2012. The CIA is alarmed by the sudden influx of militant groups into Libya from the MENA region and calls on NATO to deploy troops on the ground to secure Gaddafi's stockpile of arms, which was at that time the 4th largest stockpile of arms in the world. ImageImageImage
French President Nicholas Sarkorzy kicks against sending boots on the ground to secure Gadaffis amoury. It will be threading on a diplomatic mine field. NATO will be seen as an occupation force. The should be no boots on the ground. We came to literate not to occupy he said.

The U.S military has fallen prey to the invading army of political correct nut jobs, human resources power point jockeys and identity politics radicals. Instead of being in alert to fight foreign enemies the U.S military is now being used to ferret out domestic foes ImageImageImage
That is anyone to the right of the Biden administration. Imagine National Guard troops marching down the halls congress to criticise a Republican Congress woman after she made comments they didn't agree with. There's also a new policy encouraging servicemen and women ImageImage
..to report one another to higher ups if they caught them saying it expressing the wrong things or ideas or opinions. I grew up reading Tom Clancy novels. The U.S is begining to look like the old Soviet Union where political officers (Zampolits)check everyone's thinking.

We are looking at Mozambique potentially becoming the next Syria. ISIS terrorists are trying to create a new Caliphate in Mozambique. Good news is that the SADC has had emergency talks in Zimbabwe and is reportedly preparing for an ECOWAS style military intervention . ImageImageImage
On the 24th of March the town of Palma was attacked by by al-shahab terrorists, affiliated with the Islamic State. They came into Palma from three direction and took control of the town. ISIS is eying the over $60 billion gas project in the Delgado province. Yes Billion.
If they succeed, not will they be the richest terror group in human history, they will send money back to Iraq and Syria to finance another uprising. They will most likely isolate Cabo Delgado from the rest of the country and dig in, ready to fight to the last man.

The Nigerian Air Force, army and local authorities are coordinating search efforts for the Alpha jet that disappeared from radar. Search efforts on the ground and in the air continue with search helicopters and ISR aircraft deployed. Image
So what do we know. The Alpha jet was on a close air support mission for troops. This means there was request for air support from troops. This means it was flying towards a hostile environment.
It could have crashed in a very remote area with no cellphone service. But the fact the Alpha jet went missing near the Nigerian border suggest something sinister. There was no Mayday broadcast. No communication from the pilot. It just disappeared from the radar.

SPECIAL TRIBUTE to the most Iconic aircraft of the Nigerian Air Force.
NAF Alpha Jet force has been routinely employed in combat air patrols and conducted countless air strikes against Boko Haram militants over a number of years
In 1990, four Alpha Jets were deployed in support of ECOMOG forces in Liberia, which were engaged in combat with the NPFL. In a series of strikes, these aircraft launched successful attacks upon Charles Taylor's HQ, rebel convoys and shipping, and gun emplacements at
