As part of Desantis's election integrity proposal today, counties would be prohibited from receiving grants from private third-party organizations for “get out the vote” initiatives.
More info:
•Address the use of ballot drop boxes.
•Address ballot harvesting so that no person may possess ballots other than their own and their immediate family.
•No mass mailing of vote-by-mail ballots—only voters who request a ballot should receive a ballot.
Vote-by-mail requests must be made each election year.
•Vote by mail ballot signatures must match the most recent signature on file

It is the job of Congress to enforce the Privileges and Immunities Clause against the states when they violate basic liberties. Not only does this bill not arrest the states from crushing us with covid fascisim, it pumps hundreds of billions into state dep'ts of health /1
These funds will be used for them to ramp up enforcement, testing of flawed tests, monitoring and tracing, abuse of our children in school, and more things we could not even imagine. All with Trump and GOP Senate. Never forget. /2
Alito warned, "we have never before seen restrictions as severe, extensive and prolonged" and that these executive orders have produced "previously unimaginable restrictions on individual liberty." This bill steps on the gas peddle and affirms every one of those infringements /3
This latest grab of power to terminate private contracts exemplifies the broader violation of the national social compact, expressed in the Declaration of Independence and codified in the Constitution. The government now controls our lives, liberty, and property
without any due process or even legislative process or public input. It can just declare any long-term progressive goal vital to stopping the spread of the virus without showing any evidence of necessity, effectiveness, or constitutionality.
This is exactly why a CDC report on July 22 announced that for non-immunocompromised individuals “a test-based strategy is no longer recommended.” conservativereview.com/news/horowitz-… Yet, our entire system has not caught up with CDC's obvious observation.
Even putting aside the false positive problem, by the time most people get back their results, they are no longer contagious, yet these hyper-sensitive tests will still pick up dead viral cells and serve no purpose other than perpetuating panic and disruption.
A July study on the duration of viral shedding and infectiousness from the UK, probably the most comprehensive study to date, found, “No study to date has detected live virus beyond day nine of illness despite persistently high viral loads.”
One of the big stories emerging over the past month is that latinos are now overtaking blacks as the highest per capita infected with the virus. What changed since May? We know those with documents have come over the border for care when it hit mexico. The question is, however,
among the illegal aliens, are they getting it more because they recently came for picking season or were they hear for a while but just are more prone because they travel around and live in harsh conditions on these farms?
I pray its the later because that would mean they just got America's "2nd wave" which is mild. But if they got mexico's 1st wave from May, then we will see the death spike we saw at the border in other places as well. Time will tell.
