Demeter:
The Olympian goddess of the harvest and agriculture, presiding over grains and the fertility of the earth.
[1]The ancients were much more involved with the natural cycles of this realm, this is undeniable and provable beyond question due to the lack of disconnecting technology running rampant today. They knew exactly what would unfold in nature and paid tribute to this natural cycle.
[2] gods and goddesses in the eyes of the ancients were aspects of nature personified. They paid tribute to the spring (vernal) equinox, the sun, the north winds, the harvest, the winter solstice, etc. So unfolded traditions and festivals.
[3] Iβm not going to get into any religious debates however the evidence shown is a clear indication that there were much older pages written about traditions aimed at the spring equinox. However Catholicism and the Vatican (Roman Senate) would have you be(lie)ve otherwise.
[4] Ishtar and the Easter connection. The Sumerian goddess Inanna is known outside of Mesopotamia by her Babylonian name, "Ishtar". In ancient Canaan Ishtar is known as Astarte, and her counterparts in the Greek and Roman pantheons are known as Aphrodite and Venus. [Cont]
[5] In the 4th Century, when Christians identified the exact site in Jerusalem where the empty tomb of Jesus had been located, they selected the spot where a temple of Aphrodite (Astarte/Ishtar/Inanna) stood. [cont]
[6] The temple was torn down and so theΒ Church of the Holy Sepulchre was built, the holiest church in the Christian world.
In conclusion..
No matter what I say or what ever you find on the internet of things, do whatever makes you and your family happy whilst causing no harm to other.
All I want to say is never stop searching for your birthright. Your history is what got you to this point now.
Happy Easter, Δostre, Γstara, Δastro, spring equinox. Blessed be the old gods.
The Seven Hermetic Principles and their applications in daily life. [Thread]
Hermetic Philosophy is based upon these 7 principles
1. The Principle of Mentalism. 2. The Principle of Correspondence. 3. The Principle of Vibration. 4. The Principle of Polarity. 5. The Principle of Rhythm. 6. The Principle of Cause and Effect. 7. The Principle of Gender.
1. The Principle of Mentalism
"THE ALL IS MIND; The Universe is Mental."
Everything that exists today and will ever exist must first exist as a coherent thought within the mind of the creator. Hermetic's teaches that the universe is a mental construct of the Creator or God
