A comprehensive guide on how to fix the Chicago #Bears (a thread):

Fire Ryan Pace. While Pace has built a good defense and can draft late rounds will, he is horrible at everything else, especially the QB position, and cap management.
Fire Ted Phillips. He's been Team President since 1999, and is one of the driving factors behind the team's mediocrity over the 21st century. He has hired Jerry Angelo, Phil Emery (fired after 2 yrs), and Ryan Pace.

McCaskey loves him because he's good at making the team money.
Ideal Replacements for GM: Louis Riddick or Omar Khan
(anyone with extensive experience in the FO or in running a team that's been consistently excellent)

Ideal Replacements for Team President: Peyton Manning
(anyone who has actual football experience)

Nagy runs a West Coast offensive system, which is very QB-centric. It requires a QB who can make good decisions, can make zone reads, and is accurate. Mobility is a bonus.

When run with a fit QB, WCOs are explosive - KC is a perfect example.
A basic QB strategy:
a. Andy Dalton is the 2021 starter. He is honestly a scheme fit and has been excellent with Bill Lazor in the past. Ideal bridge QB.

b. Draft a Day 2 QB that can sit for a year or two and develop - becomes starter in 2022/2023. Ideally Mond, Trask, or Mills
This gives Nagy a final chance to run his offense with the QB of his choice - something he's never had here. He has also shown that he's good at scouting QBs (he was involved with the Mahomes selection when he was with KC).

Also trade Nick Foles for whatever you can get.

Between the first two rounds, Chicago should select an OT and a WR.
Possible OTs (in order): R. Slater (NW), C. Darrisaw (VT), T. Jenkins (OSU), D. Radunz (NDSU), L. Eichenberg (ND)

Possible WRs (in order): R. Bateman (MN), R. Moore (PUR), E. Moore (OLM), T. Marshall (LSU), K. Toney (FL)

SS: either sign Kenny Vacarro or re-sign Tashun Gipson

CB: I think we should be fine at CB - Vildor and Shelley are due for break-out years (imo) - a corps of JJ, Trufant, Vildor, Shelley, and Burns is OK

LB, EDGE: draft depth
Cut/Trade List: N. Foles, J. Wims, A. Miller, C. Leno (if an OT is signed opposite of the rookie) - Leno is mediocre and serviceable if needed

Dream FAs: K. Vaccaro, K. Alexander, E. Fisher

These are not anything needed to "fix the team" but would be nice considering Chicago is the largest single-team market
1. New Stadium - Soldier Field is historic and in a great spot, but it's also the smallest capacity stadium, which is shameful considering the massive market. It has the worst turf in the NFL, and supply and demand have caused ticket prices to be some of the highest in the league
2. Please make these the primary home/away uniforms
