trying out a branding thing for the youtube channel. what is "brand". what must i do to become "brand". what can i do to achieve "brand" Image
currently the video layout is a background put together in photoshop and a aftereffects preset. i dunno, maybe one day i'll learn enough AE to animate those stripes lmao
maybe one day i will sneak in one of the queer pride flag colors! ha ha !!
by the way, please let me know if the text is too hard to read, including as thumbnails. both the colors and the font. i really like this aesthetic imo but i'll change it if it's too difficult to read ImageImageImage

A thread about overdead., some of its ideas, and how I think of it in relation to rhythm games and rhythm gamers.

"overdead." represents something like an underflow error (going below 0 and ending up at 255/65535/whatever), or in a sense dying and then reincarnating. Image
Frums interpreted the concept to mean something like the opposite of dropdead (instead of 50BPM 15/16, it's 500BPM 17/16). The BPM steadily decreasing until you end up at the other side, somewhere extremely fast and alive. Image
From the beginning, the song "feels" more like 125BPM 17/16, which is intentional. The kick rhythm implies that feeling, but then starts decreasing.
In 1:04 the rhythm goes "half" time to imply a feel of "62.5BPM 17/32", then in 1:31 "31.25BPM 17/64"

Hello! It's time for chart commentary again with Nitro. This time it's Malicious Mischance, a brutal song about a brutal character. #arcaea
The theme this time was "double-crossed". It's a phrase that means "betrayed". The idea being that you can't really trust Ilith, because she might backstab you at any point. This idea was worked into the whole chart in the way it keeps players on their toes, it's never easy.
The theme of "double-crossed" was also used literally; there are many fast double arcs that cross each other.
Overall, it's a very violent chart. It's extremely uncommon for Arcaea, but when tied together with a character like this, it really fits.
