So here is the story of how my family friend, aged 49, fit as a bull passed away 3 weeks back due to COVID-19. Please do share this thread or let people know on what NOT to do when you test positive.

Thread 🧵
He and 15 others (same family) tested positive after returning from a trip to Coorg. He didn’t have any symptoms of Covid-19. Initially they all booked Hosptital rooms as soon as a got the report for all 15 but then later realised not to go as no one had symptoms.
As days passed he developed all the typical symptoms of COVID-19 like coughing and loss of taste. My family insisted him to take urgent medical help but he decided to try homeopathy and said that his symptoms got less worse. As days progressed, he quickly developed pneumonia and
this time got admitted at a Hosptital. Within 5 days he was put on ventilator as he had trouble breathing. 6th day, ICU and continued on the ventilator. 2 days later he was discharged and sent home with an oxygen cylinder. Still couldn’t no breath properly nor tested negative.
5 days went by like this when suddenly at 3am in the morning he started violently vomiting and got admitted in the ICU again. A day later he passed away due to multiple organ failure.
Please seek immediate medical assistance when you are positive. We still don’t know why some 90 year old people survive and 40 year olds do not. Don’t gamble on homeopathy or Ayurveda because of your patriotism. There is no cure for COVID. Get vaccinated, stay safe, mask up.

A thread about M1 by @Apple
The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X CPU is considered as having the worlds fastest CPU cores. It has 16 CPU cores with max 32 hardware threads.

Let’s talk about the thermal design power (TDP), which is the max heath generated running real applications is 105W.
That’s 105w for the AMD processor. That is what the cooling system has to deal with. The Apple Silicon M1, has a TDP of a mere 10W, which is 10x lower. Ten times!!! The M1 gets dangerously close to the 5950X in single thread performance

For people who have currently placed orders on AliExpress and expecting shipment need not cancel their orders. Only the app is banned. You can still access the web version using a VPN or side load the app.
As far as I know the deliveries shouldn’t be affected unless the govt goes full on a blocks all AliExpress shipments.

Here is a small story about Voyager 2.

Voyager 2 is a space probe launched by NASA on August 20, 1977, to study the outer planets. As of today its over 17 light hours away. That means light which travels at 3,00,000 km/second takes 17 hours to reach it.

Earlier this year, Voyager 2’s engine unexpectedly shut down.
Voyager 2 is almost at the edge of the solar system crossing the heliosphere now. And you can imagine the distance. Actually you can’t. It’s far.

On Jan 25, 2020, Voyager 2 attempted to calibrate it’s magnetic field instrument and failed badly. The probe drew additional power.
