Multiple overland railway corridors across Eurasia featuring cargo trains crammed with freight will all be conducted on high-speed rail in a few years. The key overland corridor is Xinjiang-Kazakhstan – and then onwards to Russia and beyond.
zerohedge.com/geopolitical/e…
The other one traverses Central Asia and Iran, all the way to Turkey, the Balkans, and Eastern Europe. Iran-China strategic connection is bound to accelerate all interconnected corridors leading to and crisscrossing Southwest Asia.
The most interesting short-term development is how Iran’s oil and gas may be shipped to Xinjiang via the Caspian Sea and Kazakhstan – using a to-be-built Trans-Caspian pipeline. Kazakhstan is a partner not only of BRI but also the Russia-led Eurasia Economic Union (EAEU).
It’s no accident that the Hegemon is on high alert in all points of this trade corridor. “Maximum pressure” sanctions & hybrid war against Iran; attempt to manipulate Armenia-Azerbaijan war; post-color revolution environment in Georgia & Ukraine; NATO’s shadow over the Balkans.
The Lapis Lazuli corridor was conceptualized in 2012 initially for increased connectivity between Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia & Turkey. This is really serious business; a drive that may potentially link the Eastern Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean.
In late 2020, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan agreed to build the PAKAFUZ railway. PAKAFUZ will be a key step to expand CPEC to Central Asia, via Afghanistan. Russia is more than interested. So everything will be proceeding interconnected.
The Chinese and Persian civilization-states are on the road to emulate the very close relationship they enjoyed during the Silk Road-era Yuan dynasty in the 13th century. International North-South Transportation Corridor (INSTC) will mix with BRI and the EAEU.
INSTC technically starts in Mumbai and goes all the way via the Indian Ocean to Iran, the Caspian Sea, and then to Moscow. As a measure of its appeal, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Oman, and Syria are all INSTC members.
Moscow is already seriously considering to build a canal between Caspian and Sea of Azov, north of Black Sea. The already built Caspian port of Lagan is a certified game-changer, connecting with multiple BRI nodes. There’s rail connectivity to Trans-Siberian all the way to China.
What we see in play here is Iran at the center of a maze progressively interconnected with Russia, China and Central Asia. It’s not far-fetched to consider possible emergence of a Himalaya Silk Road uniting BRICS members China and India.
New architecture of 21st century geopolitics is taking shape, with China providing multiple trade corridors for non-stop economic development while Russia is reliable provider of energy & security. Southwest Asia & Greater Eurasia have seen which way the winds are blowing.
And soon will the masters of int'l capital. Russia, China, Iran, India, Central Asia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korean Peninsula, everyone will experience a capital surge – financial vultures included. Following Greed is Good gospel, Eurasia is about to become ultimate Greed frontier.

Ukraine Redux: War, Russophobia & Pipelineistan — Deep State/NATO combo using Kiev to start war to bury #NordStream2 & German-Russian relations. To contain Russia, US/NATO need to control Black Sea. To control Black Sea, they need to “neutralize” Crimea.

asiatimes.com/2021/04/ukrain…
Deep state/NATO combo is imprinting 24/7 that whatever happens next is due to “Russian aggression” even if Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) launch blitzkrieg against Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. (To do so against Sevastopol in Crimea would be certified mass suicide).
Washington/Brussels only have total narrative control fueled by rabid Russophobia. Merkel & Macron are fully aware that if US/NATO attacks Russian forces or Russian passport holders in Donbass, devastating response will target the command centers that coordinated the attacks.

West has already decided that Russia is aggressor & Banderastan the victim of Russian aggression. Even if Ukies launch massive artillery & armor attack on Donetsk & Luhansk (or even Crimea), West will claim that evil Russkies attacked innocent Ukrainians.
The USA is not only weak, it is fantastically incompetent, ignorant and arrogant: a lot of high level western officials have declared that US/NATO will not “allow” Russia to threaten or attack the Ukraine. Clearly, these people have never read a history book.
If US/NATO attack Russian forces, Russians will counter-attack not only actual forces which attacked Russia, but also command centers which gave order to attack & coordinated it. Biggest danger now is western politicians are completely misreading not only Putin, but all Russia.

Eurasia, the Hegemon, and the Three Sovereigns by Pepe Escobar — There are essentially four truly sovereign states in the world today, at least amongst the major powers: the United States, the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
These four sovereigns—the Hegemon and the Three Sovereigns—stand at the vanguard of the ultra-postmodern world, characterized by the supremacy of data algorithms and techno-financialization ruling over politics.
It so happens that these Three Sovereigns constitute the three key nodes of Eurasian integration and the top three existential “threats” to the Hegemon, according to the U.S. National Security Strategy.

A lot of changes are set in motion. Many long-overdue changes are coming to America & those that have been doing quite well want to fight change and will go as far as to start a nuclear World War III to guarantee that their lives never change.

The corrupted American system today permits people, and companies to become fantastically wealthy while all the time making everyone around them much poorer. The “little guy” has too many hurtles to overcome. Leaving only the existing wealth structures in control and in power.
To keep the people from rising up in revolution, you need:

[1] propaganda
[2] control of media
[3] armed, strong militarized domestic police forces
[4] distractions, wars & chaos
[5] constantly decrease the standard of life of the rabble so that you can maintain your own power.

In Quest of a Multi-Polar World, Pepe Escobar in conversation with Michael Hudson — America dominates world financially, gets free ride. Vietnam War forced US off gold. Once there was no gold, America strong-armed allies to invest in U.S. Treasury bonds.

The securities financed more war making and the 800 military bases America has around the world. The largest customers are the Defense Department and the CIA that looked at Super Imperialism as a how-to-do it book. Well, that was 50 years ago.
What we have now is not really so much a conflict between America and China or America and Russia, but between a financial system economy run by finance and an economy run by governments — democratic or less democratic, but certainly a mixed economy.

An Incredibly Bitter Pill For The US To Swallow — China and Russia are no longer going to tolerate everything the US has done to the world since WWII. This is how the world is evolving. And China doesn't care whether the US likes it or not.
The Western Empire is failing, principally the US dollar, and to a large extent the US itself. There are many reasons why the US is failing — arrogance, ignorance, and treating everyone with absolute disdain. It's no longer sustainable.
The Western financial and economic models have failed. The US has stagnated for decades. Instead of recognizing that it has failed, the US got fat on everyone giving it free dollars and spending beyond its means.
