This is a very important thread to read for all Sikhs. In Gurdwaras,it’s also important to: 1. wash your hands and not touch anything else before doing Chaur Sahib sewa at Gurdwara. Use a Hazooria cloth if you need to touch anything or to touch the floor when you metha tek.
2. It’s also common to see people touching their phones and then starting sewa of distributing Langgar, Kerah Parshad or holding Mahraj saroop. This is disrespectful as our phone is not usually clean as it goes everywhere (some carry it to toilet as well 🌝).
3. When on Guru tabiya, do not rest your hands on Manji Sahib or put your feet below the Manji Sahib.
4. If you want to present any garland or Rumala Sahib to Guru Mahraj, make sure you have washed it first.
5. When serving Degh or langgar, avoid touching the hands or plates of people you’re serving to. This is not only a suchamta practice but also has science behind it (contamination, infection etc).
May we strive to maintain utmost satkar to our Guru and attain their happiness 🌸.

During Guru Ji's travel to Dacca, they blessed their Darshan to the devoted mother of Bhai Bulaki Das, the main Masand of Dacca. She had been waiting for a long time where she prepared a palanquin and robe for Guru Mahraj.
When Guru Ji was leaving, Mata Ji was very sad and wanted them to stay there forever. Guru Ji then said "I need to leave for other important affairs, but you can have a portrait of myself painted and keep it to do Darshan daily".
After seeking blessings of Guru Ji, the painter started preparing the portrait of Guru Ji's in the robe in which Guru Ji was attired. However Guru Ji's face was too radiant and their eyes were shedding divine rays of grace, which the painter couldn't withstand.
Bachan about Kalgidhar Patshah Ji by their grandfather, Guru Hargobind Ji Mahraj.
When Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Maharaj was a child, they used to be pretty quiet and reserved compared to their other siblings. Despite that, Guru Hargobind Ji, their father was very fond of them.
One day Mata Nanaki Ji asked her husband, Guru Hargobind Ji on why they are very fond of their youngest son. Guru Ji then answered that "Nanaki Ji, this child is a Maha Purakh that you have been blessed to have given birth to. He is with neither attachment nor enmity to anyone.
My boon for this child is that his son (Kalgidhar Pathah Ji) will be an Utam (exalted) Purash that no Avtar (incarnation) in this world be able to be equivalent to. He will not only have a strong eminence (Partap) in this world but will also be the destroyer of the evil.
Bhai Madho Ji was a saint that was sent by Guru Arjan Dev Ji to preach in Kashmir. There was a devoted Sikh who used to attend their Satsang often and usually the last to leave after doing complete sewa of the sanggat.
In that time period, there were a lot of theft in Kashmir and since it was ruled by Muslims, the punishment for theft was impalement - the penetration of a human by an object (ਸੂਲੀ). One day, the devoted Sikh was going back home at late night after attending Satsang.
He was caught by the rulers as they suspected he is a thief. Then they consulted his parents who didn't claim him as their son because they didn't really like him going to Bhai Madho Ji sanggat as they were a Brahmin family and they felt he is not contributing to household.
