I really never understood how so many Germans and Europeans stood by during the Holocaust. At least not until I watched American moms curse migrant children in buses, laugh at them in cages, and just saw Texans go to baseball game on the bodies of 500,000 fellow Americans.
My old boss, a Black woman, said she may fly the US flag for the first time in her life if Obama won. When the day came she still couldn't bring herself to it because of what it accompanied against Black Americans. We are buried in our own holocaust history and possibly future.

Well, def not just -possible- future. If our children grow up with educations and enough love, they'll look back at our carceral systems and ask us likely similar questions. What did you do during that time?
They will also ask us what we did when the world needed the COVID vaccine. Did we choose profit over humanity? And our answer, so far, will be we chose profit.

Few of you are ready for this but now that I’m fully vaxxed, I’m celebrating by ordering a mask with some embroidered Bukharian flavor.
If any Mexican friends want to get together and chase Nazis out together with all of our ancestors, we can coordinate really well.
Polish antifascists also welcome.

Very big news.

Relentless workers turned the page to a New York State that can no longer keep them invisible, ever.

Generational impacts of this will not be a blip.

@FEWCoalition now rewrites the futures of millions of people, moving a nation to follow.

#FundExcludedWorkers
I know there were so many people involved, and led by workers who hunger striked for weeks, like María Isabel and others. But I'm going to list the organizers I know who you should follow who helped make this happen, and please do add. #FundExcludedWorkers

In 1948, Palestinians property rights in the town of Talbiya were erased by the "Custodian of Enemy Property", and renamed to Komemiyut as it was taken by Israel.

Many of those families were expelled to Sheikh Jarrah.

Today Israel also wants Sheikh Jarrah.
4th Geneva Convention, signed by 196 nations including Israel, Palestine and US defines this as a war crime.

Specifically "appropriation of property not justified by military necessity and carried out unlawfully and wantonly"

This ICC investigation can't arrive fast enough.
To add insult to injury, the new name of the town chosen by Israel means "sovereignty".

Which is almost as much of a hateful "own" as constructing a Simon Wiesenthal Center's "Museum of Tolerance" atop Palestinian graves just 6 minutes away.

If you are outside of NYC, I encourage you to reach a local Asian-led grassroots group and see if something similar would be helpful.

So @embernic, a sexual abuse survivor, was suspended by @TwitterSupport because defenders of a sexually abusive Governor Cuomo mass reported her account for holding him accountable.

On international women’s day.
Meanwhile the account holders who harassed her and actually violated terms on here remain in good standing.
Here is @embernic's sharing details from Twitter's communications with her.

This sounds like solidarity with working people but Andrew Yang is against a $15 minimum wage which was supposed to be attached to the bill.
@AndrewYang could have used his platform and resources to make sure the $15 dollar minimum wage would have remained in the relief package, but instead repeats long disproven talking points by billionaires who would have to pay the minimum wage.
Those billionaires are very much connected to #YangForNY as his campaign leadership. Who not only make a living working for billionaires to deny living wages state to state, but profit from denying living wages as venture capitalists invested in billionaires.
