How today went & I'm still alive!

I wake up with the news of the death of a relative but i needed to go to bank because of some wahala that require urgent attention. After i finish bathing, i didn't want to go again but my friend persuaded me to go and resolved it.

#Thread
The wahala started from the car i took to bank when a trailer almost run over us along Allen road. I told him to please do gently because i never marry.

After i got to bank and complain, i needed to photocopy a document but they said their copier is faulty. I went out to do it..
And on my way going back, i saw this man moving along my direction and we were walking alongside away from the main road and i was on call so i didn't bother about him.

On getting close to the gate of the bank, i heard a sound, saw a man flew up, 2 cars colliding and a crowd...
All these in the space of some seconds, the man besides me was the one that got hit by a car, what happened to the driver was unknown. I was fixed on the spot, i didn't remember anything about emergency nursing.

When i got myself back, a lot were there to bring the man out...
He was bleeding from his head (parietal side), i took an handkerchief, folded it and apply a pressure to the side of the bleeding. A guy there took it from me and pressed it (he said i was shaking like a woman). They got a keke and took him away (to the nearest ER i guess).
After that, i entered the bank and submitted my document. Since i was closed to Allen i decided to check one of the @GloWorld office but unfortunately i was told they are not there again.

I said my energy and money should not waste that i should branch Ikeja and repair my phone.
I got engineer who diagnosed the phone and claimed he can solved the problem too.

After he tested with one Akube charger, i paid and left there to go back home.
I took a car to return home. I ordered Shawarma in one of the spot close to my place and that i will pick it up when i get there. It was on my way home that i got to know that a friend of mine just lost her dad.

I was just in the car reminiscing on all the sad scenarios 🤦🏽
I was shocked from the accident, disappointed by glo, stressed up by Phone engineer and now sad news from my friend.

I decided to put it off me and go home to chill with my Sharwama but on getting there, the person that promised that sharwama will be ready hasn't open at all...
I took that frustration home. On getting home i met toast bread, i sharply consume am. Now, i want to relax, charge my phone and reply chats & return phone calls but to my greatest surprise, the phone wasn't charging at all and the engineer has also damage the fingerprint sensor.
Much wahala... It was at this point that my frustration got to 100%, i don't know what to do. I just dey in between mixed feelings.

I took a ride back to ikeja to locate the engineer but instead i met some hoodlums in which one of them (the Oga) called himself 'king of boys".
He said i should give them money or else they will beat me up. I don't know when i shouted out of frustration and told them i don't have money. The guy sha said i should leave and i left to find the engineer still under his canopy.

He took responsibility of the repair...
But denied damaging the finger print. I shall left him and look for someone else who could fixed it because i was already tired and i can't even fight or shout.

Immediately i left there, the Sharwama guy now called me to tell me my order was ready, i was shocked 😂 😭 💔 😢
I left Computer Village to deliver the message a friend sent me and it was time to return home but Lagos Syndrome (Hold up) came up and a journey of 20mins because 2 hours. I didn't feel it much because i was too tired to feel it.
After so much wahala, i went to get the Sharwarma and i have sha reached house.

The good news is that i am alive and today has shown me that i have many good and kindhearted people around me. I appreciate it all.
One more thing, i want to send a special appreciation note to my family who are always a reliable shoulder to lean on! You guys have always been there for me and I appreciate that so much!

Thanks for the calls, prayers and Messages. 🙏🏽

WHAT NURSES NEED TO DO TO IMPROVE THE IMAGE OF NURSING IN NIGERIA.

#Thread

1. Always dress in your uniform professionally, decently, and responsibly.

2. Be cheerful, friendly and compassionate while attending to patients or their relatives.
3. Do not shout, scold or correct junior colleagues or students in the presence of your patients or their relatives. You can do that privately, in your office or at the Nurses station.

4. Join Doctors during Ward Rounds (WRs) and make contributions on patients management.
5. When your Ward is calm and less busy take your time to give patients Health Education on their conditions.

6. Do not be pressing or playing with your phone while attending to your patients or their relatives.
