Since, we are coming close to the birthday of Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (BRA), it is a good time to post excerpts from the masterclass work by Shri. Arun Shourie unmasking BRA:
"Worshipping False Gods: Ambedkar, and the Facts which Have Been Erased"
Starts off by squarely bringing light to the fact that, BRA had zero contribution to the freedom struggle. If anything, he was among those who vigorously opposed and cheered for setbacks to the freedom movement!
BRA wanted British to stay back. According to him, it was because of the untouchables in the British army, that the British were able to conquer India! Would be nice to see reaction of BRA fanboy "Dalits" who think of him and themselves as freedom fighters!
BRA not only supported the British, he was willing to ally with the Muslim League to oppose the nationalist Congress. The following excerpt is regarding the general elections of 1937:
When later in 1939, Congress resigned because of British refusal to grant Independence, BRA was enjoying celebrating this defeat of Congress!
Well, can't really argue with this actually! It was indeed the fight by Hindus for their freedom!
He was clearly allergic to the nationalist Congress and wanted to divide Hindus into caste and class-based conflicts. Of course to serve the benefit of the British
BRA had severe allergy to "rank Hindu communalism" of Congress which was hiding "it in its cloak of nationalism"! In fact, he was speaking the language of the Xtian missionaries!
"Untouchability" on one day, "they want to sleep with our wives" on another day. Clearly he was playing his part to sow the seeds of fracturing Hindu society. His description of Brahmins and Baniyas is indeed vivid. What a clown country that he's praised for all kinds of virtues!
He outrightly equates Hinduism with Nazism! How convenient to justify the foreign occupation of Hindus!
Repeatedly he tries to sow seeds of enmity between Hindu castes and to mollycoddle British to receive this patronage! Requesting for communal electorate was one such example which would inevitably lead to a total fracture of a society.
He actually did not want a Constituent Assembly at all. He wanted some British/US lawyer to make constitution! And here too creating divisions by talking about concerns of "minorities"!
BRA and British had no divergence of opinions. BRA had promised the British that he would oppose Indian freedom by any means possible.
Hand-in-hand with Muslim League throughout. And adept in creating atrocity literature to further the narrative of his British masters, and thereby fragment Hindu society.
BRA had chalked out plans of "Dalitstan" way before RM wrote about it in "Breaking India"! Truly a pioneer in that sense!
BRA continued his attempts to make separate SC electorates right till the last moment, playing to the tunes of his masters, like the loyal servant he was.
However, SCs thrased BRA's party in the 1946 elections to the dust and supported Congress.
Now what does he do? He obviously goes running to his masters like a loyal dog, and starts begging for positions in committees which would be formed in the Interim government! If there is got be a face for shamelessness, it had to be BRA! Even his masters felt embarrassed!
He did not even seat to claim a place in the Constituent Assembly. It was only due to a rather misplaced generosity of Congress that BRA even got a seat there!
By sheer large-heartedness of the same upper caste Hindus he was bashing throughout his life, BRA was given the Chairmanship of the Drafting Committee! This huge gas bag of lies is pushed down the throats of Hindus as a big hero!
Since it's that time of the year when Phule couple are being glorified, will be posting snippets from English translation of Jotirao Phule's (JP) work "Gulamgiri [original in Marathi, written in 1873]". The English translation is done by Education Dept, Govt of Maharashtra.
Right from the Dedication to this book, JP considers the Indian social organization of castes in India with "Negro slavery"
Book starts out by calling Brahmins (specifically using "Bhat" surname) as alien tyrants who came to India and subdued the natives.
Interesting incident of former RSS Sarsanghchalak M S Golwalkar. He was as confused & deluded as the current one. Look at his stupidity in believing that Sufis are liberals! Golwalkar imagines a unity of all religions without understanding how radically different they are.
Golwalkar too thinks as if the difference with Islam and Xtianity is of "way of worship".
Simply unable to catch the fundamental antagonism of Abrahamisms with Hindu religion.
Golwalkar arguing with a Congress worker of early Independence times.
We can clearly see that today's Sangh speaks the same language of "because there are thirty crores of Muslims living in this land" !
Amir Chand of Sanskar Bharti, an RSS outfit, stated, “In collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, we are debating the removal of portions from the Manusmriti which are anti-Dalit and anti-women and often quoted in arguments against Hindu scriptures.” thehindu.com/opinion/op-ed/…
Balmukund Pandey, the head of Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana, another RSS outfit, announced a plan for modifying the Ramayana to weed out verses that are not in sync with the ideal image of Ram. thehindu.com/opinion/op-ed/…
While other religiopolitical movements such as political Islam, either keep religion superior or at par with politics, RSS/BJP Hindutva make religion inferior to politics. To cater to "subaltern sensibilities" they distort Hinduism as they like.
BRA never actually claimed authorship of the Constitution. He quite frankly admits, most of it is copied with small modifications. He has just been pushed down our throats in order to propagate his poisonous ideas regarding Hinduism, to fracture our society.
It was quite well-known to all the leaders of the time that most of the constitution was based on the Government of India Act, 1935, prepared by British to rule India. In fact, the BRA would have felt vindicated about the continuation of the same. But a sad-fate for Hindus.
A considerable four-fifths of the Constitution was from the 1935 Act. No doubt, the state institutions remain in a colonial hangover in a number of aspects.
The draft constitution was getting formulated in the constituent assembly during July-Nov 1946, and the merger of states was still in progress. During in this time, Pandit Nehru had remarked that it was the individual state's decision whether to continue with monarchy or not.
However, it was tumultuous times for the country with partition and creation Pakistan. The constituent assembly had to accommodate for these changes. The major influence of this was, the continuation of the influence of the Government of India Act, 1935.
Initially, it was contemplated that princely states could be separate Constitutions. But due to the monumental work by Sardar Patel and agreement of the Hindu Rajas in acceding to united India, amendments were proposed to make princely states at part with other British Provinces.
The task of the Drafting Committee, which BRA was the Chairman of, was primarily a "secretarial one" to check if the new draft incorporated and tallied with the decisions of the constituent assembly!
The Constitution was the result of decades of work of several Hindu leaders who were working to create an administrative system for India working within the British government of India. And the process had started decades before the constituent assembly was formed.
Sir Benegal Narsing Rau, a British civil servant who was the constitutional advisor to the constituent assembly, played a pivotal role in the creation of constitution. He prepared voluminous document - Constitutional Precedents, from virtually all major countries' constitutions.
