Seokjin loved the seaside. Not the sun-kissed resort towns with their warm blue waters and even bluer skies, white sand beaches and tanned skin sheathed in colorful resort wear. That was too bright and lively for his mood.

No, he preferred this location with its rough, rocky coast and perpetually overcast skies—the way the filtered light muted everything around him, turning it shades of silver and grey that matched the melancholy in his soul. It was easier this way. Easier to forget.
