Has Yvonne Maldonado of @Stanford forgotten article 7 (b) in The Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights? see below 1/n
"research should only be carried out for his or her direct health benefit, subject to the authorization and the protective conditions prescribed by law, and if there is no research alternative of comparable effectiveness with research participants able to consent..." 2/n
"...Research which does not have potential direct health benefit should only be undertaken by way of exception, with the utmost restraint, exposing the person only to a minimal risk and minimal burden and,.." 3/n
"... if the research is expected to contribute to the health benefit of other persons in the same category, subject to the conditions prescribed by law and compatible with the protection of the individual’s human rights..." 4/n
"... Refusal of such persons to take part in research should be respected.” 5/n
1) Children have almost nil risk from C19
2) Consequently, they get no benefit from the vaccine
3) Then, the research is not being conducted for the children's own direct health benefit 6/n
4) All medical interventions come with inherent risks.
5) For children, the risk from the intervention outweighs the benefit from it BY DEFAULT because the benefit is almost zero 7/n
6) The research is not expected to contribute to the health benefit of other persons in the same category. All healthy children will not benefit from the research. 8/n
7) For such a controversial trial, the subjects should at least be of age to consent. Children are not able to consent or refuse to take part in the research 9/n
8) There is alternative research with participants able to consent that should be conducted and that is research on the safety and efficacy of vaccines in the elderly with comorbidities. Most existing trials have used young and healthy participants. 10/n
8) The parents who are making the decision on behalf of their children are completely brainwashed following a well-funded psych op for over a year. They believe that they are sacrificing their children for the greater good of society. 11/n
To achieve the greater good of society, parents should let their kids go to school without masks or social distancing; let them play and have fun; let them socialize with their peers and their extended family; let them go to the theater or the museum; 12/
let them live without fear or guilt; let them get immunity naturally to SARS-COV-2.
The vaccine trials on healthy children are unethical. 13/n
As for the 'vulnerable children' argument ...
First a reminder:
"The estimated IFR is close to zero for children and younger adults”
This estimate includes vulnerable children too. 14/n
These children represent a minute minority of children. The very few deaths that occurred were in severely sick children. Their death happened WITH C19.
Regretfully, some children are very sick and die from many diseases. Children also die from starvation. A very painful reality
Beyond Vit D, healthy lifestyle, early treatment, and many available therapeutic treatments, if the parents of vulnerable children wish to give them the vaccine to protect them then.. 16/n
...the vaccine dosage trials should be specific to these children, as this is the only way to determine the safety and efficacy of the vaccine for this target group. 17/n
The elderly with comorbidities, the vulnerable of this pandemic, don't need children and young people to take the vaccine for them. 18/18

@7:44 Fauci says " You don't want kids to be part of the spread dynamic"
But Fauci Kids are not part of the spread dynamic. Just look at the science for once! 1/n
"This adds to current evidence that children do not appear to be drivers of transmission, and we argue that reopening schools should be considered safe accompanied by certain measures." 2/n
"Systematic tracing and testing of school contacts of paediatric COVID-19 cases showed minimal child-to-child and child-to-adult transmission in primary schools with implemented IPC measures [hygiene, physical distancing & stay home if symptomatic]" 3/n

"A year ago, there was no evidence that lockdowns would protect older high-risk people from Covid-19. Now there is evidence. They did not. With so many Covid-19 deaths, it is obvious that lockdown strategies failed to protect the old." 1/n
The young generation is paying the biggest price now and into the future.
"Lockdowns have, nevertheless, generated enormous collateral damage across all ages. Depriving children of in-person teaching has hurt not only their education but also their physical and mental health." 2
"We called for focused protection of the old while lifting lockdowns and letting children and young adults live near-normal lives." [but] " the lockdowners were at it again, doubling down on their prior failures without protecting the old." 3/n

'We are being told, simultaneously, that we have successful vaccines and that major restrictions on everyday life must continue indefinitely. Both propositions cannot be true,' dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9…
«With real-world data showing vaccines reduce the risk of death by 98 per cent and hospitalisations by more than 80 per cent, the experts say Covid-19 is being turned into a 'mild' disease in Britain, akin to the flu.»
«The letter's authors added: 'It is time to recognise that, in our substantially vaccinated population, Covid-19 will take its place among the 30 or so respiratory viral diseases with which humans have historically co-existed.»

"We call on the medical experts who inform governments to likely for the first time, use some common sense and logic and some critical thinking; if it is all about the science, we implore the medical decision-makers to follow the data and science"
Some bold recommendations in this article...
A very contradictory sentence below.
Why would you have respect for Fauci after participating in all of this? He should be denounced as acting against the interest of the public.
"most of the decisions made by the governments and their medical advisors including Dr. Fauci who I have much respect for, are illogical, absurd, irrational, nonsensical, specious, and in most part reckless and have caused far greater harms with their policies"

@Stanford requires all students to get the C19 vaccine and to continue wearing masks in the fall. This is akin to asking a man who has undergone a vasectomy to continue wearing condoms.
This is wrong public health advice for many reasons:
1) the student population almost has zero risk from serious disease or deaths from C19 so they don’t really need a vaccine to protect them
2) vaccinated people are protected by the vaccine
3) forcing individuals to take a vaccine and requiring those who opt against it to continue with testing indefinitely is a discriminatory and coercive strategy that doesn’t respect informed consent or bodily autonomy.
