Let's talk about LEAPS options and why they might be a good addition to your portfolio

LEAPS are:

Long-term
Equity
AnticiPation
Securities
A LEAPS option is just a Call option that expires about 6 months - 3 years from now

As you know, buying a Call option is a bet that a stock will go up over time

Why would you want to buy a LEAPS instead of buying shares?

LEVERAGE

Here's an example:
Let's say you believe in $AAPL long term and you want to invest $13,300 in the stock.

You can buy 100 shares of $AAPL outright ($133/share)

or

You can buy June 16, 2023 $115 LEAPS Call options for $3,065 per contract.

With your $13,300, you can afford 4 of these LEAPS Calls
