1/ Next Generation Protein Sequencing - $CAPA $QSI

I often see investors making miscalculated risks in genomics. The main mistake I see is investors trying to play catch up and chasing the most popular names today.
2/

The best way to make calculated risks is identifying tomorrow's big names. Right now, there's a major lack of attention being paid to Next Generation Single Molecule Protein Sequencing. In this case, I'm specifically talking about $CAPA.
3/

What makes this company avant-garde and why should we be paying attention? The current approaches in proteomics have major drawbacks.

The problem with affinity assays is that they're biased tests where the only thing that will be found is what you can test for.
4/

MS is the gold standard for protein analysis. However, MS requires enough homogenous sample to fill its chamber which is roughly about 1,000,000 molecules. This is severely limiting, especially in instances where we need to identify antigens expressed on a tumor sample.
5/

While RNA has become a popular approach for protein analysis, there is ongoing debate about its direct measurement with protein expression.
6/

Next Generation Single Molecule Protein Sequencing like $CAPA can intervene here by helping researchers get a better understanding of what, when, where and why certain markers are being expressed.
7/

The most lucrative opportunity comes in neurological applications and CNS diseases. Many associated conditions like Alzheimer’s, ALS, and Parkinson’s, for example, are disorders of post-translational modifications, specifically phosphorylation.
8/

MS and RNA sequencing fall short in their ability to detect post-translational modifications.

It is my opinion that $CAPA will usher in a new era of novel therapeutic medicines for mankind's most cryptic and challenging conditions.
9/

I'm betting that within the decade, $CAPA's Platinum and Carbon machines will be a fixture in Labs/Universities all across the country.

Are there any FinTwit accounts that you associate with one particular stock due to their unwavering and rock solid conviction?
@BahamaBen9 and $RDFN has some of the strongest support on this platform IMO. Really cool to see
@DisruptorStocks done buying stocks. Accumulating lumber in his garage

Listening to Brad Loncar's podcast on CRISPR right now. I respect the man but I will unapologetically disagree when people call CRISPR outdated compared to Base Editing. These are 1A and 1B to each other for the foreseeable future.

On the point of double stranded breaks, Cas9 has been engineered by nature over the course of millions of years. Often times, there is no better engineer than nature. There people more talented than you and me working around the clock to optimize CRISPR-Cas.
This may be over simplifying it but it's a useful analogy. When I hear people compare CRISPR-Cas to Cytosine Deaminase Base Editors, its like comparing a scissor to a pencil. The two are exceptionally good at their own utilities, so why compare apples to oranges?
