This tweet is just wild.

“…a relatively normal life.”

It was only like 3 weeks ago that she was on TV dressed as a giant bird and singing the song “Tik Tok” by Kesha. WTF is “relatively normal” about that? Image
“This, to me, is normal.” - that person, apparently Image
Caitlyn Jenner is a moron who has proven over and over and over for the past 45 years that she’s just desperate to stay in the spotlight no matter what that means.
Also, how is it that trans people are the ones supposedly making “ridiculous demands” when the question is: “hey, should state legislatures spend time and resources passing bills specifically aimed at attacking trans people?”
On that topic, I already tweeted about it and am not going to repeat it, so check out the thread if you want (or not, I don’t care, just don’t fill my mentions with your opinion on that because, truly, I do not care about anyone’s opinion on that.)
Anyway, she’s a stupid, vain person who hasn’t done anything positive of note since Ford was in office. Her stunt candidacy is just another desperate cry for attention. Getting older and forced to grapple with her own mortality, she’s now just clinging to relevancy

Am I the only one that finds this genre of "why people who don't want to go out to eat in restaurants yet and wear masks where they maybe don't need to are dumb-dumbs and a threat to society" journalism a little odd?
It feels like just a way to "both sides" the stories about people who actually are posing a threat to the general public (people who were anti-mask/anti-vax/etc.).
I mean, it was just 1 week ago that the CDC updated its mask guidance.

The CDC still recommends that vaccinated people "avoid indoor large-sized in-person gatherings," "take precautions in indoor public settings like wearing a well-fitted mask," and more. cdc.gov/coronavirus/20…

Watching Fox has turned my brain into that vat of queso Dana made for the Super Bowl a few years back.

I see that everyone in right-wing media is doing that thing where they intentionally misread a tweet to pretend the person is saying something that they aren't.
She's doing the "tired/wired" format here to say that families are LITERALLY tired, not that families are obsolete (as the "wired" is unabashedly pro-family). The unhinged right-wing responses about this based on that intentional misreading are pathetic.

I hate to be like, "This is the internet. There are a lot of stupid and disingenuous people out there. Format your content accordingly," but yeah, that. If you're going to use a pretty well-known meme format, don't put your own spin on it or people will lose their minds.

That’s not at all what the article says.
The article says 2 things:

1. That there are probably too many people who refuse to get vaccinated, which will prevent us from reaching herd immunity.

2. That through its continued mutations, they hope that it becomes less deadly and harmful over time

One thing about our ever-fragmenting media landscape where people have the ability to seek out news that simply reinforces their existing worldview is that there’s an expectation to be told what we want to hear vs. what is actually happening

A couple earning 500k is in the top 2%, @SRuhle. (And very, very nearly in the top 1%.) Come on. 247wallst.com/special-report…
Do you realize how out of touch that makes you sound, @SRuhle?
