Coincidentally, America just won a major war, the USD became the global reserve currency, and US military bases were established all over the world to ensure this would continue. 1950's taxes financed war debt, not investment in public infrastructure.
Capital gains taxes have done nothing but increase national inequality by allowing the wealthy to put up their valuable assets as collateral for even greater quantities of low interest loans, which were used to invest in more valuable assets, to acquire cheaper loans, ad infi.
You will never get money from the ultra wealthy. Ever. It's a sucker's game. If you want to destroy the middle and upper middle classes (which every socialist tends to want to do), you will only eliminate fair wage jobs and increase your dependence on the ultra wealthy.
Howard Hughes famously paid $20,000 (in 1960 money) in taxes annually.

Crack a book.

The only way to reduce inequality is to give lower and middle income people the capacity to compete with the ultra wealthy by starting businesses.
Leftists don't want to reduce inequality.

They want to kill the Kulaks so they can finally be liberated by massive supranational nanny corporations who will coddle them with promises of centralized public health and carbon consumption directives.

Working on your physical appearance is the easiest way to get ahead in life.

Statistically speaking, the distribution of physical traits at which others will perceive you as attractive is constrained in a way (via central limit) that other aspects of life are not.
On the margin, lifting weights and lowering your body fat % pays you substantially more compared to getting smarter, richer, funnier, psychologically more stable, better networked, etc.
Caveat being that you can't change your height or somatotype, but I think most of the value of physical attractiveness comes from facial symmetry anyway (which can be gamed significantly via body fat %).

As sensational as this sounds, he makes a great point. Bitcoin isn't fungible. A public ledger is a problem for decentralization.
It doesn't matter what you dorks think. The market is dumb and it wants provenance and sustainability.
I lost interest in Bitcoin when the fake store of value narrative emerged this year. It was cooler as digital cash. Don't stop me from getting your Xs. But it won't last.

In the lab, you can use microscopes and computer models to conduct science.

In the real world, science can only be performed by groups engaging collectively in culture, via public discourse, by taking risks, and ultimately, by surviving.
Culture IS science. There is no valid science that applies to groups of people living their lives.
I would wager this also applies to pandemic response. There is no effective, pre-stateable pandemic response strategy that can be drafted by central planning bodies.

In which Chaim Rumkowski requests dearly of the crowd, "Give Us Your Alpha Males!"
"I swear when the Feminazis take them, they will not be sent to Blue Pill Gulag!"
Ok, I more than most know know there is a place for a few spiritual Babushkas in some male spaces, but more often than not this is just cope to prevent men from pursuing greatness.
