🧵 Here is my post-election rant, I've got to get this off my mind, it's been months of being frustrated to the point of losing sleep over this.
1) Mistake #1 was Biden not immediately dipping out and being pushed through to run for a second term. His age was clearly a problem and he was already fighting an uphill battle with inflation and the cost of living. (even if it wasn't his fault, it reflects on him)
Mistake #2 was the unconditional funding of the destruction of Gaza, and ignoring the people affected by it. It turned away people opposed to the conflict and alienated people struggling to get by watching endless funding being sent to other countries.
🧵2) Mistake #3 When Harris took over and picked Tim they were doing insanely well, until the DNC. When they snubbed the protestors, refused to let a Palestinian government representative speak, and then Harris went on stage and gave a speech that would have made any 90s-2000s Republican happy, it went downhill from there.
🧵3) Mistake #4 When she proclaimed that her presidency wouldn't be any different than what Joe Biden has done the last 4 years.
Mistake #5 Trying to guilt and shame people into voting. Obama did it with Black men and then they brought Bill Clinton out in Michigan a heavily populated Muslim state to shame them into voting and making excuses for the ongoing genocide.
Trump's campaign was hacked, apparently, some hackers in Iran have taken credit for it. Along with the emails were links to "training videos" for the "Project 2025" Which have now been hosted on YouTube.
Politico broke the story after being contacted by an anonymous source. According to them, they have hundreds of pages of documents including campaign research on Trump's VP pics and what problems they could cause him.

In 2021 actor Damien Smith had a home break-in, where he had detained the intruder before calling police. When police arrived, they proceeded to tase Damien and threw him in the back of a police car until they realized their mistake.
This is pretty much what happened to my dad, the man spent 55-60 years working day and night hardest worker you ever would meet. 12-hour days owned multiple businesses over his life. We both did hard back-breaking work breathing chemicals we shouldn't, lifting things that had to… https://t.co/vMFuHAKzehtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
I'm paying my own price for the old "work yourself to death" mentality. Mountains of debt from a back injury that will never heal, not to mention health issues from being around all the chemicals.
That's what's changed in the world, Dad lived the "American dream" for most of his life anyway. He made good money, bought a home, and raised a family mostly on his own income. Doing the exact same work that lifestyle isn't possible now.
