Tottenham's pass network from Sunday's game, with a few observations. Following on from my earlier tweet, Dele's movement is exceptional, employing an array of techniques to facilitate vertical movement of the ball
A combination we know and love. An Alderweireld diagonal to Dele, something which has resulted in many goals. Against Sheffield Utd, a very clever out to in run by Dele almost saw a repeat, with his original wider starting position opening up space inside Bogle
In the first half in particular, Dele got significant joy working off Norwood's blind side and attacking the space between the lines to offer himself as an option for a vertical pass. In this example, he comes short for the ball, before attacking the space in between the lines
Another example of this, Dele attacks the space between the lines in transition, making a run off Norwood's blindside to offer himself up as good vertical passing option, which eventually leads into a good attacking opportunity
These are just a few specific examples, but Dele's appreciation of space, sense of timing and array of techniques to open up space help Tottenham move the ball vertically, and going forward, if played in the final four games will help Bale, Kane and Son significantly
I will say - apologies for the poor quality of some of the still images and the put together of them, I am working off scraps in terms of video available and software currently being used
