#SaveSheikhJarrah #Palestine
More than ever Palestinian rights advocates - whether in Palestine, Europe or other parts of the world - should be able to speak and protest freely. 1/6
For days, Palestinians have been peacefully demonstrating in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in occupied East-Jerusalem against the forced transfer of 4 Palestinian families from their homes being taking over by Israeli settlers with the help of soldiers and Israeli courts. 2/6
The Israeli forces responded to the protests with excessive force and attacked worshippers at the Al-Aqsa compound while settlers continued to harass the families from Sheikh Jarrah and marched in Jerusalem shouting “death to Arabs”. amnesty.org/en/latest/news… 3/6
Yesterday, Israeli forces also started bombing the Gaza Strip causing the death of several civilians including at least 6 children. 4/6
While pressure from activists including raising awareness online was growing @instagram deleted posts on #SaveSheikhJarrah and suspended accounts. If you’re one of them, write to fbweneedtotalk@protonmail.com or report@7amleh.org (in Arabic). See more: 5/6

3/9 elsc.support/cases/tehe-cou…
