I'm amazed at what our customers have built in Figma. I've asked a few designers to share just a teensy peek of what they've built. Figma, under the covers as I like to call it.
In @JustinMezzell's "Project Terrarium", he's taking illustration systems to a whole new level. Quickly change up colors using selection colors & color styles.
There's colors for shadows (w/ blending modes) as well as objects in the terrarium are swappable components.
With @pablostanley's @blushdesignapp, your illustrations are super-powered with a plugin. You can create own compositions with different stickers, like this living room scene with plants, sofas, and cats...all of the cats!
You can even use harmonious color schemes in your illustration compositions, in the @blushdesignapp plugin, to recolor your artwork...or color it yourself in Figma.
When @oatenbeard from @Twitch shared his design system and incredible use cases of variants, I just gushed. Everything is responsive and so many options!
@oatenbeard goes a step further in this component for @Twitch — get a load of this responsive and collapsible side side bar, complete with aspect ratio respecting thumbnails.

Working smarter, not harder also applies to prototyping. 😉
Here are six #FigmaTips from Designer Advocate @_AnaBoyer for prototyping in Figma.
1/ Draw prototyping links from navigational components to reduce the need for repeatedly drawing connections.
2/ Create interactive components in your libraries, so designs that use those components already have micro-interactions built into their prototypes, adding an additional level of fidelity.
3/ Nest interactive components to reduce the number of prototyping links.
A few days prior to launch, @pacocoursey had teased the team's in-progress Figma files. Was now the perfect opportunity to finally share them with the world?
When their site went down, @jorilallo suggested forwarding their homepage to a public Figma file, and soon there were over 300 people swarming their designs…
