Everyone say hello to white nationalist Joshua Grant Wells of Hutchinson, Kansas. Wells has held leadership positions in the Three Percenters, Proud Boys, and the White Lives Matter march. Now, he plans to make a “Midwest Nationalist Party.” THREAD:

Wells is from Emporia, KS and has since moved to Hutchinson where he owns Wells Home Repair Co. and does various other contracting work. While Wells doesn’t seem too active on social media, we were able to snag this mugshot from a 2010 arrest.

On Facebook his name is Grant Joshua, his Twitter is @/WestKSPB12, and he has an account on Connected Investors as “Josh Wells”.

You might actually recognize Wells as “J.W.”, who was featured in several news articles after the Telegram chats of WLM admins were leaked online by @CVAgainstFash. Wells created a WLM chat for West KS. Here are some of the things Wells said in the international admin group:

Turns out, even Wells was too inflammatory for the other admins who asked he stop the infighting. After a scuttle with other admins, some of whom had literal Swastikas as their avatar pictures and some having connections to actual neo-Nazi groups, Wells left the group.

While others have done good work noting the overlap between Proud Boy members and the WLM marches, Wells himself did not end up making any plans for a local event and later regarded organizers with contempt.

Now let’s take a look at what we’ve discovered about Wells through undercover conversations. Wells said he is a president of a local Proud Boys chapter in Kansas that tries to stay off the radar. Wells also frequently notes he has big connections across the U.S.

Wells loves posting goofy PB graphics on his Facebook page and as his telegram avatar:

Reuters journalist @AramRoston discovered several high-level Proud Boys in fact made contact with the FBI prior to the Jan. 6 insurrection. Several members of the group were providing info to the FBI about “ANTIFA” and the PBs themselves. reuters.com/world/us/exclu…

We believe it is likely the FBI was cooperating with the PBs regarding Jan. 6 specifically. We also believe the handful of individuals Aram identified are only a small extent of the PBs who have made connections with the FBI. Wells himself was visited by the FBI on Jan. 5th.

Wells is apart of a small group that is underground – if the FBI would contact someone like Wells… it seems likely the FBI has made many contacts across the country prior to Jan 6. Or perhaps Wells being contacted only reveals he has close ties with national leadership.

It isn’t clear what interest the FBI had in Wells or that area of the US, but several members of the KC Proud Boys ended up getting arrested for the major roles they played in the Jan. 6 insurrection.abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireS…

We also know that Wells has a relationship with a Florida design company that apparently “does a lot of work for the Proud Boys”. We also have this video provided by Wells of what appears to be some national meetup party with Proud Boys that Wells attended.

Wells said he was the former leader of the Three Percenters KS Zone #2 but wanted to go his own direction and focus less on keyboard activism. If a far-right militia is only keyboard activism… what exactly is Josh thinking he wants to do?

Well, we know some members of one Kansas 3%'ers group felt similar (we are unsure if there is any connection with Well’s group), so they went off and made their own group. And then they tried to bomb a Mosque and an apartment building to target Somali immigrants in Garden City.

Now we arrive at the Midwest Nationalist Party. Last time we checked, Wells claims he was filing paperwork to make the party official in KS. He also says he is being given the opportunity to publish this statement in full with a local news outlet. Below is the rough draft of it.

Josh Well’s Midwest Nationalist Party is a self-admitted white nationalist party that wants a white-owned theocratic “ethno-state”, particularly through balkanization. “The coming civil war will be a racial struggle,” Wells said, “and the white man’s skin will be his uniform.”

This whole race war accelerationism sure does sound familiar… it is an idea that motivated, for example, the Christchurch Shooter’s attack, according to their own manifesto. He killed 51 worshippers at Mosques.

Here is a sample of the party platform Wells shared in the MNP chat. Wells believes people that can’t speak English should be deported out of the country. Wells thinks Muslims shouldn’t be allowed into the country and that gays should be kicked out of the military.

The actual Midwest Nationalist Party group chat is where Wells (whose Signal username is now Erek Chauvin, and Telegram is D. Chauvin) likes to send (a bunch of) jokes mocking George Floyd as well as literal neo-Nazi propaganda. Note the Black Sun reference in the video below:

While Wells is still a proud PB, on several occasions he has referred to chairman Tarrio as a snitching “half-breed” in conversation with us. In the chat, Wells also has said that Derek Chauvin “ridded the world of a POS”. Cissexism is rampant daily in the chat.

The group chat is also full of conspiracy theorists. Some of these theories are that: COVID and 5G is a plan to kill billions by 2030, Melinda Gates has been replaced by an actor, Tesla discovered time travel which has since been in use, and the Freemasons control Burger King.

Conspiracies came primarily from Fiona Peden (@AudreyBlu), a former member of the U.S. Army from the 82nd Airborne Division. Now she is the co-founder and manager of Falcon Operations LLC. in New Orleans.

Another member: Jossette Storey (@Storey1Storey and @jossettestorey) is from Plano, Texas where she (last time we checked) is a Vice President of the Jackson Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (@JacksonPlano). She also sometimes works as a mediator for HASTE Unit.

Yeah... HASTE Unit is an Ohio-based far-right group that believes in QAnon conspiracies and thinks pizza restaurants and CVS are covered in pedophilic symbolism as part of some global conspiracy. Their gab profile is truly something…

We also have “American Mabe”, also known as Landon Michael Mabe (Mike) from Walkertown, North Carolina. Mike is also a veteran, having served as an infantryman in the U.S. Army. Now he studies at Forsyth Tech Transportation Center. Also likely runs American Mabe Co. on Facebook.

Just last night, Wells sent us a 7-page fascist speech with no explanation where he calls for revolutionaries with a “grand vision” to revolt against the modern world and create a new white state. We don’t want to platform the whole thing, but below we highlighted some key parts.
