Why SaaS is a great business model

(and how it can make you A TON of money)

// THREAD //
First of all:

If you don't know me, I
>>ex-Googler
>>have built 4 SaaS's
>>have been in Silicon Valley for 8+ years
>>built Contact Ecom with @blackhatwizardd
>>grew a SaaS from $0 to $15k/mo in 1 month
Now that's out of the way,

Here's 6 reasons SaaS is the sh*t πŸ‘‡
1) Easy to start

The tech world wants you to think it's hard.

Spoiler:
It's not.
You aren't building the next Google…

You're copying a model that works + tweaking it.

(it does depend on what type of SaaS you build)
2) Little work involved

SaaS takes upfront work, yes.

If you want a business model with no effort required?

You're in the wrong place guy.

BUT

Once you build it, it's *mostly* good to go.

Much less work from then on.

(it's why I own multiple SaaS's)

Which leads me to...
3) Code keeps working for you forever

Once the code is done, you can keep it running forever... literally.

You will need to focus on marketing after that.

Oh yeah, and you don't have to do the code yourself.

Btw…
4) Can be programmed in 1 month

Yep, your SaaS can be fully developed in as little as one month.

You can pay a tech dork to program your SaaS + be ready to launch in 30 days or less.

(grab my course to learn how πŸ‘‰ bit.ly/3yEBsSz)
5) Monthly recurring revenue

This is (arguably) the 2nd best part about SaaS.

The business model is subscription-based.

This means:

>>high CLV

>>stable income

>>profitable exit

Which leads me to the #1 best part about SaaS...
6) Can sell for 36-72x MRR

You can realistically exit a very basic SaaS + become a millionaire.

It happens time and time again.

I built a SaaS that went from $0-$15k/mo in one month.

If I had sold for 56X?

$840,000

And you can do this without knowing code or tech…
Interested in SaaS?

Want the blueprint to building profitable SaaS that

- you don't have to code yourself
- sell for 32 - 74X MRR

The 6 SaaS myths holding you back from $10k/mo (and a possible $750k-$2M exit)

I'm an Ex-Googler who has

>>Went from $0 to $15k/mo in 1 month

// THREAD //
Trust me:
You've been lied to about how tech startups work.

Learn the truth + hit $10k/mo with ease.
Here are 6 common SaaS myths that are 100% WRONG πŸ‘‡
Myth #1 - Be original
Being unique is a waste of time.
Imagine Lyft said "Uber already did this... let's try something else"
Here's the way to go:
1) Copy an existing SaaS (preferably a successful one)

2) Tweak it in your own way
Don't make it harder on yourself.

The 5 need-to-know (and profitable) types of SaaS you can build in under a month

No, seriously.

Thread:
There are many kinds of SaaS BUT

5 of them you absolutely need to know.

These models are need-to-know if you want to build a SaaS(s) + sell for 6 to 7-figures.

Let's look at these 5 models + the pros & cons of each πŸ‘‡
1. White Label

white label = product made by one company + sold by another

Pros:
- easy
- zero upfront cost

Cons:
- little control
- less profitable
- lower valuation

I don't recommend this model.

The real owner takes a fat chunk of your income + you sell for lower.

PaaS
Micro-SaaS

Regular SaaS (99% of the time, this is cloud-based)

I'm going to break down the pros and cons of the first 4 models

Then address the biggest myths about regular SaaS
How did I get into SaaS?

I got a new job this year and my boss asked me to build him a new app.

I ran the numbers and came to the conclusion this company was basically paying me 50k to build a dashboard for my job.

If they're willing to pay me 50k to build this??

I figured...
