That’s Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Yojana.

What is the motive behind MYUY scheme?

In line with government’s vision of zero poverty and lower unemployment, this scheme is launched to help those who want to be self-employed.

10 lakh youngsters will be provided assistance under MYUY in next 10 years - 1 lakh per year.

Now comes eligibility.

Who all are eligible to get the benefit of MYUY? Here’s the eligibility criteria:

🔸Applicant should be 21-40 years of age
🔸Minimum 8th grade pass out
🔸Most important- skill training from an accredited institution

1991

Year when Indian economy was liberalised.

In the same year, a new industrial township on the outskirts of Noida was established - Greater Noida

By 1995, Greater Noida started attracting global automakers. Next few years saw many giants establish their manufacturing base here.

What happened next? A thread.

It started with South Korean automaker Daewoo Motors in 1995.

Daewoo set-up a huge manufacturing facility with 1 lakh vehicles annual production capacity for its iconic brands like Matiz and Cielo.

200 acres plant, located in Surajpur Industrial Area, was set-up with an investment of almost Rs 4,500 crores in multiple phases, generating thousand of jobs.

After Korean, next came the Japanese global giant - Honda Motors.

Two years after Daewoo, Honda commissioned its plant in Surajpur Industrial Area - in 1997.

Huge 150 acres manufacturing facility was set-up with an investment of Rs 1620 crores in phases to manufacture popular brands like City, Accord & CR-V.

Plant started with 30,000 vehicles capacity initially, ramping up to 1,00,000 vehicles annually later.

In one week from now, the largest religious festival ever happened on this earth will begin in Prayagraj.

The Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati Sangam will witness an unprecedented show of devotion, faith, and humanity.

A thread on what it means.

First the context!

Mahakumbh is organized every 12 years at 4 places ~ Prayagraj, Ujjain, Nashik & Haridwar.

Why 4 places? It is because during Samudra Manthan, the Amrit drops from the Kumbh fell in these 4 locations.

Why 12 years? Because Jupiter takes 12 years to orbit around the Sun.

Prayagraj Kumbh is organized when Jupiter is in Taurus, the Sun, Moon are in Capricorn.

Now the scale.

This year's Maha Kumbh is special as planetary alignment are auspicious which happens once in 144 years only:

🔸4,000 hectares Mela Area
🔸40 crores devotees expected to come
🔸Rs 6,382 crores budget allocated by the government
🔸Mela Kshetra is declared as 76th district of UP with all administrative powers of a DM given to Mela Adhikari.

Infrastructure development is key to becoming an industrial powerhouse!

In last many years, UP has seen some of the best infrastructure projects getting delivered.

That will continue in 2025 too. A thread on big infrastructure projects worth ₹1.5 lakh crores to be completed in 2025:

Gorakhpur Link Expressway

91 kms, 4-lane link expressway will be the first big project to be inaugurated in 2025.

Construction work is already completed including the mega bridge on Ghaghara River.

Two industrial clusters are also being developed along the expressway connecting Gorakhpur with Purvanchal Expressway via Azamgarh.

Project cost ~ ₹5,876 crores

Kanpur Lucknow Expressway

63 kms brownfield greenfield mix 6-lane expressway will be ready in next 100 days.

Connecting capital Lucknow with industrial hub Kanpur, this will have a 13 kms elevated corridor in 3 parts.

Starting from Amausi in Lucknow, it ends at Azad Chauraha just before Ganga Bridge in Kanpur.

Project cost ~ ₹4,700 crores

2025 is here!

What’s in the store for Uttar Pradesh? A lot.

Here’s the thread on the importance of 2025 for UP.

If 2024 was about Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha, 2025 is about Prayagraj Mahakumbh!

The year begins with the most auspicious Kumbh congregation, comes once in 144 years, in Prayagraj Sangam from 13th January.

This will be the largest gathering of humankind at one single place since the existence of humanity.

Over 40 crore people are expected to visit Mahakumbh this year ~ more than the population of USA.

Looking forward to having the Kumbh Snan at the Sangam this month🚩

Soon after the Mahakumbh is over in February, we will see the completion of Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Construction is already in the advanced stage, moving towards completion by mid of the year.

Apart from main temple, construction of Parkota, other temples, facilities for visitors are being developed on war footing.

It will again be an early Deepawali this year, when the Mandir is completed and opened for devotees.

A year that was 2024!

Some big events, major achievements and initiatives that have potential to change the socio-economic conditions of Uttar Pradesh forever.

Here is a thread on flashback 2024. Read on:

The year started on a truly auspicious note with the Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla Sarkar in Ayodhya.

A civilizational wound was finally healed ~ a 500 years wait of Hindu Samaj finally over. Bharat celebrated the day like an early Deepawali festival and entire Ayodhya was lit with millions of Diyas on 22 January 2024.

Over 5 lakh people had Darshan of Shri Ram Lalla on the very first day of the Ram Mandir opening. Since then, more than 100 million devotees have visited Ayodhya.

Ram Mandir has started changing the economic face of Ayodhya and its people as well. The city got a swanky railway station, an international airport and many other infrastructure projects.

The transformation continues in coming years.
