Every point in Formula 1 is worth so much, it's no wonder pressure can mount quickly on drivers in a poor run of form 😣
Sergio Perez is facing that pressure, but he has the ability to turn it around. Here's six drivers who've done the same in the past 🧵👇

Pierre Gasly
After a promising start to his career at Toro Rosso, Pierre was promoted to the main Red Bull team in 2019
However, when he struggled to match the pace of new team mate Max Verstappen in the opening rounds, the squad soon demoted Gasly back to Toro Rosso 🔙
While this could have dented Gasly's confidence, the young driver racked up several points finishes in the second half of the campaign, including a memorable first podium with P2 in Brazil 📸
Pierre continued on the ascent in 2020 and, clinching an emotional maiden win in Italy
The record for the most Grand Slams in F1 has stood for 59 years, and might never be beaten. Here’s why 🧵👇

A Grand Slam is one of the hardest accolades to achieve in Formula 1. Earning it requires taking pole, fastest lap and victory, without ever losing the lead - even during a pit stop
A hat-trick is the same list of achievements, but without leading every lap. There have been 191 hat-tricks in F1… but just 68 Grand Slams. With 75 seasons of F1, on average it has been achieved less than once per season 😮
The most recent Grand Slam was Max Verstappen’s dominant win at the 2024 season opener in Bahrain. He has five in total 🖐️
