I'm playing around with it. There are some WEIRD UX things.

Clicking on a notification opens the notification in the column, but then you can break that single notification out into its own column for...whatever reason?
You can do the same thing for tweets/threads (which might be useful if you're doing a rant like I do sometimes), but it's still a little awkward.
There is a lot of whitespace. Like...a lot. A lot more than we're used to. It's quite jarring. But hey, we've got the standard content editor now.
TweetDeck is meant for pros, but its rendering performance needs work. It's not as information dense as the ancient UI, but it's definitely a good to see this movement from @Twitter @TweetDeck.

Rating it 3/5 for a product experience. Improve rendering and I'd pay money.
@Twitter @TweetDeck By "rendering" I mean that the second a column is scrolled out of view, it unloads all the stateful content and will reload that content once scrolled back into view. Creates a weird flash effect because you see an empty, white column.
@Twitter @TweetDeck Another negative: there is a LOT of movement/animation/sliding panels/scrolling.
Opening a column's settings opens a drawer to the reight of the column and causes weird scrolling and movement. It's jarring.
There is no clear way to reduce motion in any settings panel I have found.
A lot of options are removed too. You used to be able to filter notifications (for example) by verified users only, or the types of notifications (mentions/likes/follows/etc). That's stupid annoying.
I _loved_ a rolling list only showing follower notifications. That will be sorely missed if it is overlooked.
e.g. here's the options in the old Notifications column.

These are crucial to a productive experience using TweetDeck, and I hope they come back asap.

But I'm gonna guess they won't do it. 😭 Screenshot of TweetDeck showing the Tweet authors notificatiScreenshot of TweetDeck showing Tweet Content options: ShowiScreenshot of TweetDeck showing Notification Types available

This September, say goodbye to Google Bookmarks: Google Bookmarks, scheduled to be killed in 2 months, Google
Okay, people are confused. Google Bookmarks is an really old service that pre-dated Google's Bookmark Sync in Chrome.

Google Maps still (apparently) stores data there. I don't remember starring these or using Google Bookmarks in April, but apparently some Maps app does. Screenshot of the Google Bookmarks service showing four list
^ That isn't to say that your Google Maps starred places will disappear. My guess is that they haven't squashed a legacy API call from Maps to this Bookmarks service (which is fucking stupid, come on).
