The latest focus for Oregon’s pro-Trump far right is to pull their kids out of school AND stage protests at school board meetings to further their culture war agenda.
If you want to homeschool your kids, fine. But then don’t tell the rest of us we have to school our kids the way you’re schooling yours.
That FB status was posted by a close political associate of disgraced OR representative Mike Nearman. In 2020 they were the chair of their county’s GOP.
This is the sort of content they post.

The party of personal responsibility would like you to know that it is entirely the fault of the "lying press" that great leader was denied his rightful position as President.
The very scientific poll you encounter if you click through.
But the real action is here...where they find out where their most gullible and enthusiastic supporters get their news, and then ask for their phone numbers so they can communicate with (and solicit money from) them more efficiently.

What is the name of this band, and why is it obviously MAGAgoogoo?
The cursed flyer from which this triptych comes.

A real 2012 tweet from Don Jr, man of the people, defender of traditional family values, and scourge of “the elites.”
I’m sure your greens keeper would do exactly the same, right? I mean, you DO have a greens keeper, right, like every good patriotic American?

Richard Spencer’s funder and scion of the conservative publishing firm that published Josh Hawley’s book, has died. huffpost.com/entry/william-…

This story about Rip McIntosh, super-rich Palm Beach racist who sits on the TPUSA board, immediately brought to my mind Countess Guardabassi, a super-rich Palm Beach racist who funded neo-Nazi and other right wing groups from the 1950s into the 1970s. talkingpointsmemo.com/feature/adviso…
A thread on the little-known Guardabassi. Fun fact: the Heritage Foundation has a fellowship named in honor of (and, presumably, funded with money from) her son.
Interesting to note that when this lifelong funder and avid supporter of America’s leading antisemites, racists, and neo-Nazis died; the NYTimes obit made no mention of it.

It's true that the "natural law" tradition isn't inherently white nationalist. But it's also true that American white nationalists frequently claim that "natural law" justifies their racism. So is natural law a dog whistle to some white nationalists? Yes. Some receipts to follow.
Gerald LK Smith's "The Cross and the Flag" 1962.
National Socialist magazine 1979. I included the wider angle on the right just to get the full sense of what this magazine was about.
