Genuine question to the doom-mongers:

Given the large deficit in non-Covid deaths from September 2020 which closely mirrored winter Covid deaths, it seems to me there are only 2 explanations:
1. That shutting down the NHS significantly improves health and reduces mortality.

2. Many of the Covid deaths are over-attributed or would have occurred anyway from some other cause.

Which is it?
Say you disagree, and maintain that are all all genuine avoidable COVID deaths.

Presumably you are expecting to see a sustained and massive increase in life expectancy once the measures you support remove the scourge of COVID from the earth?

Because that is the implication.
It is patently nonsense, as is the claim that the mirroring effect is chance, and also that dismantling healthcare as we have done might be good for health.

Genuine questions for vaccine passport fans:

There’s been no discussion of genuine medical contraindications, eg history of severe anaphylactic reactions.

What happens to these people?

Do they just have to take the risk?

Or do you not care?
Do they get certification from a doctor?

What level of proof is needed if they say they had reactions when abroad onetime?

Do you expect them to have an allergen challenge, collapse and need resuscitation as proof?
It’s not just allergies. There are other conditions too.

People on chemotherapy for example.

What about people who come to live here who had a vaccine in a country with no centralized records?

On the subject of @MHRAgovuk I actually wrote to them nearly a month ago.

I have received no satisfactory response despite the potentially serious matter raised, which I describe further below.
Many will know that the development of previous CV vaccines, including those for SARS1, was hampered by the development, upon exposure to variants of the target virus, of more severe disease in vaccinated animals than the unvaccinated.

Call it "ADE" or whatever you like.
Prior to the roll-out of these vaccines Regulators around the world were warned about this, and asked to justify why this wasn't a concern.

No cogent response has been made public.

If true, why aren’t vaccine proponents calling out the futility of any forms of discrimination on the basis of vaccination status?
Also, this is NOT the basis of the EUAs, nor the endpoints in the pivotal trials, in which severe disease was so rare there was no significant effect.
I think what you’re saying is:

- OK hands up, it looks like they’re not reducing infections

- you know they were approved on that basis

- but crack on regardless as they may be providing marginal benefit v severe disease

I am told by those in the know that this ship is likely to have ~1400 on board.

(I am also told this story is being repeated on other vessels.)

All crew fully vaccinated.

They are reporting 100 Covid cases: that's 7% of the complement.…
Ah - but they're just "cases" I hear many say. How ill are they?

I am not buying that.

That +ve tests were a significant concern was the entire basis of the ghastly fear narrative played out.

If +ve tests are not actually a worry, this entire sham falls apart.
“But the vaccines don’t prevent infection, they only reduce the severity of disease - like the flu vaccines."

(This excuse is at least consistent with the trial designs, as is apparent to the few of us who have actually bothered to study them.)

This is true.

Bonkers dissonance.

Obviously makes no sense.

This is quite simply more unethical coercion with zero scientific basis
It’s quite clear that lots of vaccinated people are testing positive, and having symptoms.

Even if you argue their symptoms are reduced because of vaccination, does that affect transmission?
If it stops you having symptoms might it make things worse - make you carry on life as normal instead of staying home? (Such a phenomenon has been proposed re flu.)

Thanks to @RealJoelSmalley for pointing this out.

This is really disgraceful scaremongering.

Stalinist Russia would have been proud at this deliberate distortion of the data.

Let's have a look at how she does it shall we?
It's quite simple.

She scrunches up the graphs on the dashboard by starting at 1 September and then hides the peak with vertical scrunching.

Yes, I know "scrunching" is non-scientific but can you think of a better word?

Let's look at what it looks like at the various stages.
Stage 1, the unadulterated view of admissions from:…

Hmmm...not really scary at all. Image
