Had to come back to Twitter to share a devastating news . This one hit close to home cos it happened to a very good friend. With his permission , and heavy heart …Nigeria is designed to kill you.
The stories about Fulani herdsmen destroying people’s farmlands with absolute impunity and immunity is real . Very real . My friend’s over 40 acres of farmland was obliterated by Fulani herdsmen. He had hoped to retire his dad who has been in the US almost 30 years .
Those are pictures of the property when everything was good. Massive investment from him and his siblings . All they wanted to do was help and support their father. Millions and millions of naira poured into it . Their blood and sweat bro. I am livid ! Next is what is left of it
One of the herdsmen legit told them ‘ God owns the land so we can do whatever we want on it ‘ . The audacity man and of course no one will be held accountable. The ‘poor’ ain’t eating the rich, they are consuming the middle class. Which is pretty much all of us!
Faces of some of the terrorists. State backed trespassers who can not only destroy your property but has license to kill with no fear of getting arrested or justice . I know some Yal want a United Nigeria , but this union is not working . And it will continue to get worse.
I am so sorry @DaReAlkay . I know the sacrifices you put into this. I could feel the pain in your voice and the courage it took to share. This is one loss that out a dagger in my heart cos all you wanted was make your father happy. Really sorry my brother ❤️

How my night ended , thanks to the Nigerian police. It could have been worse if not for the intervention of the Nigerian Army and Capt Abdullah in the Airforce . Here is the story and iv seen first hand that this organization is beyond reform.
Usually when I go out , I’m never alone. I do have a security detail . And most times I wear a touch of camo and iv never been bothered. Tonight I decide to just freestyle and go out all by myself. Went to this rave , had fun and decided to check out another spot
My cab had just pulled up when a police officer walked up to me. Had his weapon high so I told him to atleast lower it if we gonna have a conversation at all. He pushed me aggressively and as a solder , my first instinct was to protect myself. So I quickly shoved his weapon aside
For those of you going to American embassy for your student visa interview , the KEY to passing is making sure you don’t give a reason for the consular to think you will be staying !
Here are some of the questions you’d be asked and how to answer them.
You may be asked what you gonna be doing during the holidays. DONT ever say you’d be visiting a friend in a different state or whatever . Let the consular know you will be coming back home to spend it with your family . As you would have missed them .
ALWAYS have an answer to any question. Say something with CONFIDENCE. Consulars don’t know everything but looking to see if you are sure . They may ask about a topic in your field of study . Don’t be scared , put bunch of nonsense together if you are not sure.
I landed JFK as a 22 year old kid with just $50 in my pocket , a dream , and a desire to make the most of every opportunity.
Then I went on from working 3 jobs just to survive to working for the 2nd biggest bio pharmaceutical company on the planet.
Most of us in diaspora got similar stories and even worse . We came with just a visa and a dream . Most with no family support , no rich parents or whatever . But we trusted the system to reward our hard work and it did.
That was why when someone offered me 10% of $600k if I can help him launder money to Nigeria , I wanted to pluck his teeth out . You think if I wanted fast money , I will work multiple jobs just to have a college degree?
To new immigrants, avoid ‘ FAST ‘money .
