jumpman is not mario's dad why do people keep saying this as though it's a Proven Fact
"oh technically it's confirmed that-" confirmed when. by who. matpat saying something doesn't make it real so is there anything in the text of the games that you're referring to.
did you know that the name "jumpman" was only ever used in the installation instruction manual for donkey kong. it was only ever seen by arcade owners, not the general public. all the actual marketing for the game called him "mario"
the only "evidence" for it is that 1) before being named, mario didn't have a name so he could be someone else and 2) isn't it weird that cranky kong is old
time travel exists in the mario universe two characters being babies at the same time doesn't mean they're the same age
and also, the biggest thing, in super mario odyssey pauline literally directly refers to having been rescued by mario in the events of donkey kong??
"oh well technically she could be referring to one of the other times she was kidnapped and rescued by mario in the mario vs donkey kong series" okay but do you think that's what's going on here, in this Throwback to Donkey Kong (1981) segment of this video game
anyway dr. mario is mario's dad

on a semi regular basis I read through the wikipedia article about vietnamese spelling and man it's so good. top ten implementations of the latin alphabet
I've heard people say the latin alphabet is a bad fit for the latin alphabet, which is true. but you gotta admit it's got an Aesthetic going for it. nothing else looks like it
like you can't mistake it for anything else. iconic
just remembered some of my bad sorting algorithm ideas and decided to actually write them all down in one place (idk if I called wandersort something else before but that's what it's called now)
but for those who aren't familiar with the concept, there's a few semi-famous sorting algorithms that exist as jokes that are intentionally slow, but I don't like them because just from reading their descriptions the way they waste time is really obvious
so I like coming up with sorting algorithms where if you read the description it sounds decent but when you think about it it's like. oh no that's garbage
I make a point of taking youtube's creator surveys whenever they put one out, but literally nobody I've asked about them takes them. so here's a metasurvey! have you ever taken youtube's creator surveys?
you know, these things
you can't put an image in the same tweet as a poll because this website sucks. BUT here's a more specific question. did you take THIS survey?
a paradox is a contradiction which proves that one of your initial assumptions must have been false. or alternatively, it's a provably true statement that feels kinda weird
or sometimes it's a question posed that's impossible to answer (because the question itself is bad and unanswerable)
