Our recent report has hurt some nerves: powerful US lobby groups / Politicians/ possibly Agencies. The US based company (Twitter. Inc) may not be immune to the US system.

Our verified badge is taken away with a slimy excuse.

We got this mail from Twitter AFTER 2 months & 11 days of verification, just after the report - “Kashmir Inc: a Conflict Industry” - that our “verification request was incorrectly processed”.

There is an ancient folklore in India: the grasshopper turns upside down and thinks it is holding the sky!

If ‘the powers that be’ are upset, this may be the first step to suspend the account. A planned mass reporting is underway, including by Pak govt-related handles, Pak based ‘journalist’s and bots – by those exposed or fear expose.

This is not the only attack we facing: the nexus is also trying to take down our website. we have got about 40k attacks on our website in last 24 hrs. And the types of attack tells you the people behind.

This all is a coordinated effort to take down our website and twitter account. We have sent a review mail to Twitter support & Grievance Office seeking clarification, failing which we will also take legal recourse against Twitter.

We take this opportunity to thank our supporters for the overwhelming response. We have got more that 302.7K views on our website and 2.8 million impression on Twitter, on this report alone.

Our credibility rests on our research and quality of content, not on Twitter’s mercy. But we seek clarifications. A US company will not dictate whose voice they choose to amplify and whose they wish to mute at will.

We won’t let it go unchallenged.

Twitter’s arbitrariness can’t deter us; we will continue to expose the info-war nexus to keep social media space clean.
