This is incendiary. 100k on paintings, kids going hungry.

Whether the BBC/papers report this is a litmus test for just how involved the govt. are in the press.

No scrutiny? You’ll know the Tories have total control. Wait and see.

This government are a bunch of public school boys playing soggy biscuit with our hard earned money.

He’s spent the best part of the cost of a house, on art, whilst our most vulnerable struggle.

I’m ready to hit the streets, now.

I want Johnson to live that ep. of Black Mirror where the guy relives Xmas Day forever.

Except he’d be in a rough area, on universal credit, in a bedsit, powerless, fearing losing those he loves like we did, no MH support, 999 engaged when he calls, like it is for the rest of us.
Even if it did happen and he experienced the same physical and emotional hardship his people have, it still wouldn’t compensate for those he’s killed with negligence and blatant greed.

He’d learn nothing because he believes he’s better than all of us.

I want to clarify my position. I dislike not having a clear standpoint, this will be a thread.

In relation to Corbyn’s Labour, I supported him wholeheartedly. I was a big advocate for his manifesto and vision for Labour, was horrified, furious about the MSM smears and saboteurs.
I think JC is demonstrably a good man, was cheated, but he was a Euro sceptic. He failed to handle Brexit appropriately and could be stubborn, to the point of arrogance at times. He was not perfect but he’d have been a solid PM, unfortunately he was not elected. So he resigned.
Then he was replaced, I got behind KS as a universally electable figure. He’s less susceptible to external smears, comes from a working class background (more so than Corbyn) is self made. I’m not exactly blown away by his progress so far but he appears to be chipping away.

Unfortunately had a horrible experience of misogyny tonight. A guy repeatedly tried to encourage me to take of my hoodie to show Three Lions crest on the chest of my T-shirt. It was relentless and humiliating. It made me feel sick. I have never had this happen in my local before.
He wouldn’t stop, he must have said it seven times. I tried to tune out, focus on the screen.

This is not fucking ok and I wish someone had said something. I was clearly, visibly uncomfortable.

If I’d said anything I’d be painted as a dickhead by default, that’s how it works.
This is on the face of it, mild, compared to some of the insidious sexism I’ve faced at pubs watching football.

It made me feel like a piece of meat, not a human being.

Women aren’t there to be treated as decoration or for your entertainment. Wish I’d glassed him tbh.
