I am confused with people who say
Outing molesters who use Holi s an excuse is an attack on Hinduism.
Outing Vairamuthu is an attack on Tamil.
Outing MJAkbar is an attack on Journalism.
Outing Karthik is an attack on music.
Outing Carnatic Musicians an attack on Carnatic Music
The bigger question - why do communities shamelessly come together to protect their molesters. Are you all in it together? I mean what else do you all gain from protecting someone that’s identified as a molester?
I mean - Singer Karthik, Radha Ravi and Vairamuthu have a larger support system in the industry and in 5 years since 2018’s 2nd wave of MeToo, not a small percentage of that support has been taken to set up an ICC / POCSO unit in any channel, union even as they employ children.

We were discussing dowry stories on Instagram and this is the doctor edition.
Most lady doctors are forced by their parents to marry into families that order them to stay home.
If the groom has been unable to bag a PG seat the bride's parents need to pay for it as dowry.
If the bride is "just an MBBS" then she is allowed to do PG *only* in streams that the groom and his family *allow* her to do. She is also allowed to work only a few hours and told her degree is useless vis-a-vis her husband's.
Common Doctor dowry demands are
1. Building a Hospital for the groom and his family (if they are a family of doctors)
2. Extending an existing hospital
3. Paying for the PG seat of the groom

Lands, money, luxury cars are extra fittings along with a grand wedding.

Four 10th Standard boys in a Chennai, Ashok Nagar school have bullied, sexually harassed their classmate continually over the past few months.
Including physical violence, they have taken the boy to the school bathroom,
..made him kneel, forced him to masturbate, tried to sodomize him, beaten him up took a knife to him and asked him to kill himself or threatened to kill him and said they'll push him off the terrace (since there are no cameras) and say it was a suicide. ...
These boys have gone on to threaten saying if he reported, they are powerful / connected and they can murder the parents and him. (Remains to be seen if it is even true or if they just lied through the teeth).

The boy's mother seems to have begged them to let her son go.

Thread alert: Actor Radha Ravi.
This small team that has been constantly been buried under cases by the Dubbing Union under the guidance of Actor Radha Ravi has finally been able to prove the charges vide a Labour Commission Order.
The Labour Commission granted an Order against the Actor Radharavi and his Office bearers in the Dubbing Union to follow the principles of Natural justice when taking action against its own members and democratically respect the right of members to air their grievances.
As of today over a dozen cases are at various stages against the Dubbing Union, leading to dissipation of several lakhs from Union funds, which in principle is meant for member welfare.

Is it possible for a girl to share call recordings and evidences of dowry demands to the police without revealing her identity? Her parents won't allow her to file a case but she wants to.
How does one go about this?
For those who don't understand the language - 'Aadapaduchu Katnam" Or Sister-In-Law dowry is very peculiar to the Telugu States (correct me if wrong) There is a dowry rate card followed based on status; plus a dowry demand is made separately for the sister / cousin of groom.
If the Groom has no 'own' sister - the 'Aadapaduchu Dowry' is anyway collected and given to even a 5th cousin who stands in for the collection, which is again pocketed by the groom's family.

Students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds forced to work in schools has been going on for too long.
I am praying that her phone calls of cruelty from the stepmother to the child helpline are investigated.
Each time there is a case of abuse on a child - somehow
be it physical, emotional, sexual - everyone tends to focus on everything else but the actual issue of child abuse. And how long term solution and systems can be put in place to prevent this abuse.
I still wonder if POCSO units have been set up and training given at al institutions, especially after the school sexual abuse case in Tamilnadu that everyone was talking about.

Do all those Youtube channels boasting x Million views even bother for a follow up? Do they care?
