…Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson. A figure of the religious far-right.
She is currently leader of the “Christian Heritage Party of BC”.

She used to be a candidate for Maxime Bernier’s People’s Party.
In 2019, she ran in a federal byelection in Burnaby-South. Failed.
Then ran in 2019 general election in Red Deer-Lacombe. Failed again.
Ran in 2020 BC election for CHP in Abbotsford-South. Obviously failed again.

I’m old enough to remember when Laura-Lynn loved the mainstream media. In fact, she once did a profile of @billgood_news hosting his show in which she couldn’t wait to get her hands on his microphone (this has mysteriously disappeared from YouTube, BTW).

Laura-Lynn once hosted a show on channel 10. Then she co-hosted the religious program, 700 Club Canada. Now she rants online.
Oh, and she’s an opponent of teaching sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) in schools.
In 2018, she ran for Bby School Board. Finished 3rd last.

Anyway, a reminder that one of the loudest voices at today’s rally is – quite literally - a loser.
