Maj. Gen. Julian Peter, the first Christian general who served in the Pakistan Army, Major General Julian Peter has the distinction of participating in both the 1965 and 1971 wars.

Air Vice Marshal Eric Gordon Hall.
A Christian pilot who came up with the game altering idea of using C-130 as a bomber plane at Run-kach.
He himself piloted battle astonishing the jet pilots. He was awarded "Hilal-e-Jurrat" "Hilal-e-Imtiaz" and "Sitara-e-Jurrat".

Group Captain Cecil Chaudhry.
A Christian who took an active part in the 1965 war. As a pilot, he was managed to destroy the Amritsar Radar station which was a great setback for the Indian Air Force. He was awarded Sitara-e-Jurrat,Tamgha-e-Jurrat & pride of performance.

Sq.Ldr. Peter Christy who was called a Master Fighter by his colleagues & was the courageous navigator of 7th bombar Squadron. He was awarded "Tamgha e Jurrat" for flying a mission of B-57 in 1965 war. He embraced martyrdom in the 1971 war & was awarded "Sitara e Jurrat".

Major General Kaizad Maneck Sopariwala was a Pak Army officer. He was the first Parsi who became a Major General. In 2002 he received "Hilal-e-Imtiaz.

Among the many Christian officers who have served Pakistan in the Armed Forces, the name of Wing Commander Mervyn Leslie Middlecoat holds special significance. He has received "Sitara-e-Jurrat" for his contribution to the 1965 War & a "Sitara-e-Basala" for 1971 War.

Brigadier Daniel Austin commanded a Cavalry Regiment & served as Director Budget for the Army. During his career he received "Tamgha-e-Basalat", "Sitara-e-Harb" & the "Tamgha-e-Jang".
He was also awarded the President’s Pride of Performance for his contribution to Sports.

Air Vice Marshal Michael John Obrien was the first Pakistani Air Force officer to serve as the Commandant of National Defense University. He also served as a deputy Chief of Air Staff. He also participated in all Indo Pak Wars.

Air Commodore Nazir Latif was an officer in the Pakistan Air Force & a former Director General of the operations and plans at the Air Force Headquarters. He fought for Pakistan in both 1965 and 1971 Wars and was awarded "Sitara-e-Jurrat" twice.

The phone bell rang ominously almost at 5 am. I felt apprehensive but somehow managed to pick up.
My friend from Pakistan asked without any greetings, "Is your family alright in Lahore?"
On hearing her horrified voice,a tidal wave of panic ran through my spine.

"What happened" I asked, she just said, "Turn on the TV" and hung up.

Horror stricken I turned on the TV and it was broadcasting live, the terror attacks on two Ahmadiyya Mosques in Lahore.
I was completely numb....the only thing I felt was that I may die of this pain.....

My father & brothers used to go to Baitul Noor & never missed Jumma.
My brother used to perform security duty at the main gate of the mosque.

I kept sitting silent & numbed for sometime that seemed ages. Then I mustered some courage to call my father. He picked up the phone
