Why a breakdown is important
As human beings, we're good at showing up and dealing with the many demands of the world. We do everything possible to live up to the world's expectations in terms of love, money, education, career, health, family, etc.
We can pull this off for decades without a crack. But one day, to our own surprise, we break. And this can take the form of depression, struggle with getting out of bed, refusing to eat or go outside.
