Wait. That's not right.

I just put my finger over the arrows and watched - it's not based on the arrows direction.
There's subtle movements occuring that are obvious when you cover the arrows with your thumb.

Fake news.
Hm, perhaps I am now impressed again. Like 60% impressed.

Power - that nebulous concept, now a dirty word.

People are trained to hate "elites", the shadowy men behind the scenes.

But what if you want to BECOME one?

What if YOU are a rising prince who wishes to seize the throne?

Enter our @kibookclub summary of The Craft of Power.
This summary is broken up into two parts, chock full of information.

And like all our @kibookclub summaries, we have audio.

"Power is the universal solvent in human relations."
Priests use power to solidify their religious positions of worship.

Politicians use power to rise the ranks (although they themselves are at the whims of the entrenched bureaucrats).

Revolutions gain power by usurping the cultures of the places in which they spark revolts.

This is one of the best modern machine learning papers I've read in a while, from optuna.org:

Wanna know how academics puff their chest out and compete for dominance? Look at this image.

Every good paper has a table with all the closest competitors listed, and yours standing alone as superior.

Not too different from "competitive analysis" slides in startup pitch decks..
They're aligning themselves ("this work") with the more modern deep learning frameworks (e.g. pytorch, 2016).

They're implying that those antiquated methods from 2002 and 2007 are obviously far inferior to modern techniques. Dinosaurs clearly stuck in the AI past.

Let's discuss medical AI in my business.

Trying to predict which patients have which disease from healthcare data is no easy feat.

It involves exploring thousands of different classifiers, configuration parameters, features, neural networks, clever preprocessing techniques.
I work mostly with image and signal processing (an image is really just a 2D [X-RAY] or 3D [MRI] signal, so it's the same thing in another dimension).

This involves extracting features and applying filters to the signal, boiling it down to a single prediction: "HEALTHY" / "NOT".
Modern AI uses neural networks to try out thousands of combinations of filters (like snapchat filters) to the patient's images or signals.

Filters of filters of filters of filters.

Think of it like filtering the image until it's either all white (HEALTHY) or all black (NOT).

Their vax mandate narrative will collapse when they realize that a majority of black men and women in major cities are unvaxxed.

When black denizens are barred from entering restaurants, the cognitive dissonance will erupt since it'll be racial discrimination all over again.
cc @MemeCodeMoney how do we meme this so it's simple to understand and spread?
