What Matrix really is is one giant (iconically produced and high-octane) "pls notice me sempai" from the Wachovskis towards Baudrillard.
Which they failed at, because he watched it and told them they got it wrong, then rejected their job offer of being an advisor on the sequels. Image
Baudrillard championed (among other things) the idea of hyperreality and post-truth.
As it is, Matrix is basically a Cave Allegory: the idea is that you have to reject the fake, go outside and touch grass to be real.
B. suggested that that is actually impossible, nowadays.
B. says that reality and fiction have become so extremely muddled (by propaganda, expert consensus, centralized media management etc.) that you cannot actually exit the cave. You wouldn't be able to tell reality when you're faced with it. You can't tell fake from real news.
In how that relates to the Matrix, he disagreed with the idea that you can jack into and out of the matrix like a binary switch. That's old thinking. If he'd have made it, it'd likely be sort of a wireless matrix by a chip in your head you can't remove.
You can't remove the chip. Maybe you can wake up, maybe your can suppress it, but you'd never be sure if the people you fight and kill are actually your friends with phantoms overlaid on them. That would be a Baudrillardian Matrix.
Now, how do you tackle this? Problem is, he *was* right. During the time that he wrote it, the diagnosis was correct. Media was centrally controlled and all-encompassing. Everyone got their news at the same source, which was easily controlled by the state and shunned any deviant.
CNN equalled truth. Whatever your personal experience or expert knowledge (deviating from their consensus) said was wrong when you or someone sharing your opinion was dragged in front of the nation in a 3 minute segment and roundly laughed at by everyone else on the show.
You could not get a word in edgewise because they controlled the frame. They were the glaziers of the Overton Window, and monopolists.
The truths about MK Ultra and so many other things your government did were in books, released and legible, but you never heard of the books.
There's a reason why the first mass produced People's Radios in Germany were nicknamed "Goebbles' snout". They set the frame for everyone to be remote controlled because they didn't allow you to consider alternative approaches, ideas. Top down control. The medium is the message.
Now, you may have noticed that this doesn't exactly apply anymore nowadays.
The smartphone, as shit as it is, broke the back of centralized media control.
The sheer incandescent hate that the media class has (and is actively stoking) for deviants is entirely caused by this.
Imagine growing up in a world where you, a member of the high salaried elite, can more or less dictate what the entire nation thinks.
B. successfully diagnosed that, in despair.
Then some tech nerd brings out the Nightmare Rectangle and the steering wheel you held onto snaps off.
There's a reason why the media are in complete pandemonium and bleeding credibility, views and relation to reality like a stuck pig, and why this loss only makes them get angrier and lash out harder.
It's not about truth, it never was. It was only about controlling the narrative.
The reason the nation was so "unified" before the current era is simple: the facade held. It wasn't good for you. This elite-controlled apparatus is what okayed the selling-out of the Manufacturing Belt into what is today the Rust Belt. Nobody panicked. It was part of "the plan". Image
The plan didnt involve you, or people like you. You were sold a story that had you as an extra to the tale of big people at the top, even though you and yours made up most of the nation, and because they controlled the frame you all were looking through, you had no other options.
It's important to remember that resistance wasn't crushed, it was not really an option because resistance was made societally ridiculous. You weren't just wrong, you were cringe. Of course, the high polish of the media made it more elegant than that. But same thing.
The current struggles are democracy, REAL democracy, not just opinion-laundering, asserting itself. I am not sure if one could even say *re*asserting itself, because there's a hard argument to be made that there wasn't any since the wide spread of the radio, or even newspapers.
And as always, the people losing power are entirely willing to tear down everything with them.
That's the only reason a neo/postmarxist idea-set like the Woke has gained ground: its a revolutionary ideology for status losers, for elite that are made extraneous. They want to kill.
They want to kill what they perceive as being in the way of their greatness so they can rightly be in control of what they perceive to be their birthright (you + the nation).
All the woke babble is just excuses to further their goals of control.
So, how do you tackle this post-Baudrillardian world?
The rules before and after are actually the same. The difference is that because we're in the post-phase, you can actually hear me tell them to you.
Hit up my boy @Radomysisky , founder of @DefDist :
@Radomysisky @DefDist He outlines the four rules:
The rules are
1. Politics is fake and homosexual, do something real instead.
2. No gestures of loyalty to the enemy.
3. If awake, you're an extremist. Even if you don't think so, act accordingly.
4. Make use of the rules without submitting to them.
@Radomysisky @DefDist What this actually means is explained at length in the video, but I'll give you a quick rundown for each.
1 means: politics is just a show, one that they can still control centrally by the bureaucracy, unlike the New Media. As before, don't play in a Matrix they control. Exit.
@Radomysisky @DefDist Do something real instead!
Look at Cody. Do you campaign in-Matrix for gun rights, losing the game your side has been losing for decades?
No. You invent the 3D printable gun. You break the Matrix from outside, then leave them to deal with their expensive game being wrecked.
@Radomysisky @DefDist 2 is an extension of 1: why would someone who wants to make a real difference use the political vocabulary of his enemies?
Words like "xenophobe" were invented by the Wokes to enslave you to their will. Swerve. Don't play in their Matrix. Terms like that are fake.
@Radomysisky @DefDist 3 means: by the seemingly minute act that you don't obey their rules, aren't captive in their Matrix anymore, they despise you to such a degree that they will hit you with every enemy-marker they put on the 9/11 terrorists.
Be aware of this and behave yourself accordingly.
@Radomysisky @DefDist 4 plays into 3: the only rules that can protect you at that point are those that the enemy can't break without hobbling himself. Anarcho-tyranny, though nonsensical, is a relevant term here. When the system is against you, you must learn to game it.
@Radomysisky @DefDist Dy*ng in a toaster bath act of illegalism is fun, sure, but unnecessary. Laws are disused objects. They can do so many things when you learn them and either use them for your benefit or make your enemy ridiculous by forcing those in control to break them for all to see.
@Radomysisky @DefDist Such as, for example, writing a law that makes it illegal for you to have a file of a printable gun on your computer. That this violates the 1st Amendment both doesn't matter and is the point; the point is to show how willing the enemy is to break even the most basic rule.
@Radomysisky @DefDist Now you might think that this is no use, they'll just do it anyway. Thats true, and also the point. The only reason you cant immediately see the effect is because politics moves relatively slowly. But I think you've noticed how these constant rule-breakings have changed the game.
@Radomysisky @DefDist The dam is breaking right now on the measures they use to keep the various Matrices they run under their control, and it's all happened because they refused to play with the rules they had set up so long ago and assumed would keep them in control forever.
Good. Enjoy the show. Image
@Radomysisky @DefDist Uh, and buy some food, water, 🖨️a🔫. Make friends locally and go shooting together. Read the books Prairie Fire and Concrete Jungle by @wayofftheres , they will teach you important things. The end phase of this play will get EXTREMELY spicy.
Hit up @NaviGoBoom and @CtrlPew
@Radomysisky @DefDist @wayofftheres @NaviGoBoom @CtrlPew Other guys that can help you with this would be @ConceptualJames for the theory behind the Wokes, @0x49fa98 for some dank stories and thonks, @17cShyteposter for same, @CityBureaucrat also, @acczibit also, @TheAgeofShoddy is great, @eigenrobot too, @planefag for spicy takes
Please, really, watch that video up above. It's actually hilarious.
Oh right, this is the video that informed me on this topic

I think I should clarify my position on the war, NATO and various justifications and talking points, lest everyone go on misinterpreting things.
I'm not American, I'm German. This war is in fact in my backyard and has shattered a longstanding calm rather abruptly.
You have to get into the mindset of this nation: the End of History wasn't just real, it was the culture around here.
A land war in Europe? For the older generations, this reminds of nuclear apocalypse. For the younger, it's an implosion of the safe world order they know.
No one saw this coming. No one took the CIA warnings and leaks seriously.
The European states interpret the meaning of NATO and the EU quite different from the US and this may be the source of the largest confusion.
Seems like a good place to start.
