Just been informed of the lies that have been circulated about me during Labour Party meetings. Namely …1. that I have made “transphobic tweets”. 2.That I didn’t apply for the Women’s Officer position in the same name as my Twitter account. 3. That I selectively edited DMs
So. 1. None of my tweets are transphobic. 2. Of course I’m not going to apply for a party position under my Twitter account. That’s ridiculous. It’s a pseudonym like half of Twitter. 3. I didn’t edit a thing. They were damning enough and they aren’t happy I exposed them.
So I’ll do it again. Here was my original tweet.
Here were the DMs I received which are hypocritical at best and bullying at worst. They are not edited in any way and are available for inspection by @UKLabour
So in advance of a meeting tomorrow where I *may* be discussed if they decide to invite me …. @Keir_Starmer as @ShefHallamLab Women’s Officer I believe that women deserve single sex services according to the EQ Act 2010 and in line with the last LP manifesto.

Am in a meeting with Mridul Wadwha. Already want to scream at the things being said by organisers
Inc “work to ensure LGBT is embedded across South Yorkshire” ….they intend to target all commissioners
“At Edinburgh rape crisis we had to cleanse our history of not being trans inclusive”

JFC - Wadwha is talking about “cleansing” the women’s movement.

I can’t believe this report in @SheffieldStar … it talks of “cleansing” statues of women by draping them in trans flags. More importantly the women of steel are an icon. My aunt was a Woman of Steel. She was not a transwoman. thestar.co.uk/news/people/sh…
Women like Lilian Radford worked long hard hours in the Sheffield Steelworks because men had gone to war. They hadn’t time to play with identity politics. They didn’t question leaving stereotypical “women’s work” or housework … they just rolled up their sleeves and got down
To the steelworks to do the job typically reserved for men. Lily lost her first husband in the blitz - there was a direct hit on the house. She was running for the air raid shelter and he was following - home on leave. He was buried in rubble. She tried to dig him out with her

Because I prepared notes for @LBC this morning. Here they are in a thread. @sainsburys are introducing “gender neutral” I.e. mixed sex toilets and changing rooms across their stores. A whistleblower says this is due to advice from @stonewalluk
Stonewall, by inviting membership of large companies to their Diversity Champions scheme appear to be pushing the acceptable boundaries of the Equality Act beyond the remit for single sex services and advocating for self-ID especially around service provision for women.
The @EHRC have left the Diversity Champions scheme. Stonewall are losing support across the nation from a number of orgs and bodies including govt departments. @sainsburys won’t say whether they have now left the scheme.
